Hi maxxon! Lovely renovation work, thanks for sharing! Would you mind telling how you achieved the rendered cement effect for your bedroom wall and how much it costed you? I read a mention of sand blocks? If its by the contractor could you please share the contact? Many thanks smile.gif

Definitely the 'in' thing to go for the raw/industrial theme! I'm also finding ways for the brick and rendered cement look!

I read in other forum topic (https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2515496/all) where they go for lightweight concrete panels by innofloor but it really seems expensive @ RM40psf with installation! I'd rather go for cement looking tiles like mrgoodgood said. You are using niro cementum? Smart going for paint effects, I didnt think of that!

Looking forward to your updates. Thanks for the input!

Thinking of redbricks/tiles (suzuka) for living room feature wall and cemented wall/tiles (niro cementum) for kitchen. Not sure what you mean by a 2 feet grout?

D: Not his wife! Plus his home is much bigger than mine. I suppose that is the common idea if you like rustic concepts..

Thanks for the update on the wall and congrats on moving in to your lovely new home! Loving that suar wood coffee table also. Costed a couple of RM'000 I'm guessing?
