Plaster Ceiling:

-Basically my plaster ceiling is just simple flat board where ever possible, except for an L-box in the dining room and the kitchen to hide the unpleasant cross beam.

- generally, total ceiling height is 9'10", flat plaster ceiling drop-down is 4".

- The entire first floor, entrance foyer, car porch and toilet are installed with flat plaster board with downlights.

Section A- A dropped-down bar to hide the curtain rods. Those cropped-ceiling design is not suitable here as the overall plaster ceiling drop-down is only 4".

Section B- this is a 7" drop-down L-box for me to install the cassette aircond. It is not installed in the middle of living room as I still prefer a ceiling fan which is very much essential when the aircond is not on. Moreover, I do not want to sacrifice the ceiling height for the overall living room area.
Im also installing some additional/option lighting, making use of the cove. There are 2 rows of T5 tubes in the cove, a row of warm white and another row of daylight, as an option when I need extra brightness in the living room or when i'm doing some reading.

Sweet! Was looking forward to your updates. Especially on your collapsible grill (which can be spotted from your dining area pic). Hope you don't mind sharing the details or maybe some review. Cheers!
