Depends if you are looking for a buildin or walkin Buildin has a carcass with doors Pole system has no carcass and no doors and you can relocate it to another room or house. I'm looking for a walkin but I don't want pole system. I prefer this instead.

One day u move a new house the pole system also can move it but depend the size

Just difference in looks. I prefer a cleaner look. If your wardrobe is big, imagine the number of poles used. It just looks too busy.
But pole system are more common and easy to find. Brands like alumix or ximula. Plenty more.
Btw I can't find the type of system I want so if you seen it, tell me who does it

The pole system allows for flexibility, but stuff is liable to fall off the edges. You need to keep your stuff really nice and folded neatly.

QUOTE(idoblu @ Sep 9 2013, 11:17 AM) no not pole system but something like this - looks like just another pole system to me. My understanding of the pole system is that it is a modular method of creating shelving by hanging the components on to a rail/frame. Perhaps there are different implementations, that's all.

QUOTE(Dage @ Sep 9 2013, 02:52 PM) which one do you prefer?since you have both normal wooden shelves more practical for clothes I think. It really depends on your application vs cost vs visual appeal. In my home, the pole system also functions as a display rack for my DVDs and other stuff... The wooden shelves are used for clothes etc. Pole system is cheaper than custom wooden shelving and is easier to configure and customize
