This thread purpose to gather user which got use Affect Effect to do rendering work. Kindly share your best setting in how to get the fastest rendering time with your current hardware (CPU, RAM, Storage media, etc).

There are secret in internet which customize the cpu-core and ram size in the setting which believe can improve rendering time.

Let me start my experience, I typically do AE for hobby purpose making slideshow with available slideshow templates;


template: Thunder
rendering time: 50min
hw: i7 3.5Ghz, 16gb ram, normal sata hdd
os: win7 64bit
memory & muiltiprocessing: ram for others app -3gb [16gb]; cpu for other app: 1 core [8cores]; ram for background -2gb; actual cpu use 5 cores
