why do you consider those 3 are trashes? non-customizable switches?
but for me, after some searches i find that the Razer and Rosewill are really a trash. Ducky and CMStorm is the most favoured.

in before, i kinda like DasKeyboard but the pricing is sweat.gif

and my question is i got a question, do blank keycaps works on all mechanical keyboards?
*
as long as the blank keycaps are cherry mx type then fit,,,
besides that for mods you need to check the size ,,,
1.5x or 1.25 etc etc

pay so much for a keyboard that is not able to change keycaps,
while other similar price range keyboard can do it.

mkb is built for last. so does your keycaps, you will want to change it overtime.
once you stepped into the mkb trap, you will itch and buy more brows.gif

Blank keycaps works on all mkb,
provided let say the modifiers fit into your keyboard.
that's when the layout of keyboard modifier is important.

Rosewill cheap and good.
Nothing much to complain about except my friend's case.
Maybe you saw previous there are a lot of USB issues.
The problem has been rectified long ago.

those 3 are trash lah.

In here we recommend Ducky, Filco, Rosewill, Vortex, CMStorm and chinese brands
depends on your needs, budget and preference.

Most gaming brands, namely razer, Logitech, corsair, and most of CM are using non standard modifier size, which translated into pain in ass when you try to find full replacement keycaps set for it.

Very subjective, but most ppl will settle for brown or red for that, depend on whether you like tactile or linear.

If you happen to come across blue in the process, have a try of it first, who knows you may like it more than others.

Preferred switches > best/most suitable switches

Malaysia's backlit keyboards are on the higher price side.

If you really want to get it within rm300, you must buy from taobao. You can get the ikbc104 at 500RMB, which practically a clone brother to ducky zero shine minus the default backlit (need DIY) but come with double shot pbt (this thing alone can cost over rm150).

the "proper" keyboard uses same size, that's why there are easy to find replacement.
For example razer bwu, g710+, corsair mkb spacebar is hard to find replacement.

while ducky/rosewill rk9000/filco you can simply find at just few RM

Then brown it is.

The problem here is b4 you try next switch, you will be satisfied with what you currently have.

So if your hands are not itchy to try on next switch, then I think brown is it for you.

I think brown is the safest switch. Not too soft and not too stiff. But after quite a time with my brown, I want to try something softer.

Red are soft, some even said like typing on bewbs. Downsinde is most keyboard with this switch will be more expensive than other switch. Maybe due to the "gaming switch" gimmick. But again, most Razer kb offer blue switch..

I love blue but the clicky kill my mood. Still wondering if I can mod other switch to blue switch level but without the clicky. I think one day, Razer will successfully intro to gaming world that blue switch is the gamers switch.

In your case, "normal typing and some online games" sounds like typing more than online games. If you love clicky, get blue. If you dislike the sound, get brown. If you think that your membrane kb too stiff for typing, get red switch. Please avoid non-standard layout, I beg you... notworthy.gif

I don't think so... It's weird when I feel blue lighter than brown because according to the first page;
-Brown Actuation Force: 45g (55g Peak Force)
-Blue Actuation Force: 50g (60g Peak Force)

I love the clicky sound but I hate the multi tapping respond when I'm playing dota. Among all the game I played, I spam my right click and F-rows the most in dota. doh.gif And that's contribute to my mice right click issue.

i think the clicking sound makes my kick come...

red is soft so it's feels good for spamming, and less annoying
