OT abit, AudioEngine A5+ next for me.

At least in MKB, there is no 20K or 100K or even more expensive keyboard to purchase, audiophile hobby is no limit in term of spending smile.gif
*
I think current limit for mech kb is somewhere around rm10k, and mainly due to being a collector item.

Anyway, what is the average price for a good mechanical keyboard?

A filco should be fine for being a good mechanical keyboard, and it cost around RM400.

Guys, I'm going to buy a Razer Blackwidow Expert 2013, cost about RM339.
Cheapest MX Blue full keyboard that I can find, will this be a good choice?

Was looking at CM Storm TK at first but only to realize the directional button is embedded into the numpad, may be a problem in future.

I love typing, any recommended Mechanical keyboard that is within that price range?
Not getting anything above RM380.

Y all gaming brands?

If you seriously must gaming brands, get CM Quickfire Rapid (almost EOLed) or CM Trigger.

Does 1.5/1/1.5/7/1.5/1/1.5 always come together or it's possible to have 1.5/1/1.5/6.25/1.5/1/1.5
*
The total should be 15.

Spacebar should normally either be 6.25 or 7.

Gaming brands like razer and cm and bla bla bla normally use 6 and 6.5.

Except for the case of custom winkeyless board, then the total (15) should be deducted by 2.

In here we recommend Ducky, Filco, Rosewill, Vortex, CMStorm and chinese brands
depends on your needs, budget and preference.

haha, i thought those well branded out theres are quite good and simplify people's mind.
do those well branded ones have different size so the keycaps arent changeable?
*
Most gaming brands, namely razer, Logitech, corsair, and most of CM are using non standard modifier size, which translated into pain in ass when you try to find full replacement keycaps set for it.

what switch is suitable for normal typing and some online games?
was thinking to try the Mechanical Keyboard , my current keyboard not working very well
also is it possible to get a full led with around RM300?
*
Very subjective, but most ppl will settle for brown or red for that, depend on whether you like tactile or linear.

If you happen to come across blue in the process, have a try of it first, who knows you may like it more than others.

Preferred switches > best/most suitable switches

Malaysia's backlit keyboards are on the higher price side.

If you really want to get it within rm300, you must buy from taobao. You can get the ikbc104 at 500RMB, which practically a clone brother to ducky zero shine minus the default backlit (need DIY) but come with double shot pbt (this thing alone can cost over rm150).

Then brown it is.

The problem here is b4 you try next switch, you will be satisfied with what you currently have.

So if your hands are not itchy to try on next switch, then I think brown is it for you.

USD32.99+USD8.11 Shipping to MY.. thats roughly RM150.... Heavyarms selling ducky pbt too for the almost the same price... is vortex and ducky pbt keycaps both are thick type? never bought a pbt keycaps before but heard that thick is better than normal ones...
*
DS pbt is still a novelty and rare.

But like I suggested, I will prefer get the ikbc from taobao, mod the boards to backlit, and sell the board, keep the keycaps and free gifts (another set white pbt ds and RGB modifiers + keypuller), profits?

Actually, according to taobao, you also get extra white ds pbt and RGB modifiers + 2wire keypullers, brows.gif

One doesn't simply compare laser etch to DS (double shot/dye sub).
