QUOTE(BlizzardCraft @ Sep 8 2013, 01:06 PM) why RGBY set of caps much more expensive than 37/87s set of caps with similar quality and printing method ? ( in a quantitative matter ) Different molding.Larger size. Signature plastic RGYB considered cheap already compared to BSP RGB cost about 40USD. http://keycapsdirect.com/marketplace.php If you see SP full set, it cost 60usd per set and it is not even dye sub the cheap 37/87 quality isn 't really good. you have to consider printing method too |

QUOTE(nick_vll @ Sep 8 2013, 04:09 PM) i see. i guess another different will be the stabilizer? filco/costar, ducky/cherry? since this is my 1st time getting a mechanical keyboard, still cant decide Costar tends to ping a lot, and cherry tends to be very mushy. These are the cons, but if not modified, I would probably pick costar, but if modified, I'd pick cherry. |

QUOTE(Human10 @ Sep 8 2013, 11:11 AM) Steel plate metal plate, single layer pcb vs multiple, costar vs cherry stabiliser, so much different already. QUOTE(kyrmian @ Sep 8 2013, 11:16 AM) Did you mean, every different mx cherry? Black, blue, red, brown? Then yes, different Color feels different. That aside, build quality, stabiliser used can make it feel different too. QUOTE(JohnDiew0107 @ Sep 8 2013, 03:19 PM) same switch, but on different build boards such as PCB, plate and stabilizers, the TYPING feel will be different. oh wow didn't know there's so much more to it. i thought it was only the cherry mx keys that matters. guess i need to read more. |
