u r wrong dude, crafting will damage ur gears hence still need to repair lol

i heard this is due to less quests/content that nab you gil at lvl 50 D:

Low lv crafting gear repair should be cheaper kua...

its not about crafting, if u go run a few round dungeons you're gonna get a few k repair regardless you die or not.

the dungeon currently only rewards the copper version of bags

always click the coin bags as rewards if the EQ choices stats are close or doesn't add much to the EQ u are wearing now.. view and compare the stats before choosing rewards

Some ways to save money
1. Save imba gear for dungeon/raids only

2. Only use crafted gears for levquest, fates etc.
- Once 100% spiritbonding convert to materia
and sell it.
- Invest in gathering to save cost on crafting

3. Dont rely 2 much on npc to repair. Repair urself.

4. Learn to run. lol

Anyway these doesnt solve the overall economy as less new money injected.

question for here..the converted material usually sells for how much roughly? and if we can repair our self means cheaper than repair from npc? around how much?

You mean Materia right? The price depends on the tier, I got 1 tier 2 Materia that adds Determination that sells more than 1000 gil.

As for self repair I am not sure yet, haven't got the time to fully level crafting at the moment.

gosh. the inflation is so bad for now. almost all lvl50 in my FC ranting about do not have enough money, especially those who buying all the material for crafting their relic weapon and leveling their crafting class, instead leveling traditional way for their crafting class.

now, i spent atleast 1 hour for DoH & DoL everyday to farm the material needed.

seriously having this issue as well...during lvl 50 gear farming...death is not avoidable especially with AK runs...my repair bill claims around 4.5k highest till now or average of 1.4k-1.7k...this is killing me haha

Ok officially quitting Battle class right now. Doing all craft and gathering class till i can repair all lv 50 gear @.@

u need to train 2 class DoH for repair your own weapon and armour.

and to train your DoH, u need also to train DoL.

My case,
Main Class : Paladin
Weapon Repair : Blacksmith
Armour Repair : Armourer

Material Gathering for leveling DoH : Miner

Lucky, my paladin not yet reach max level, and heard about this inflation. So I play my DoH/DoL when boring leveling my main class.

even if you level your crafting to lv50, you still need grade 5 dark matter to repair your equips. add up together still more expensive than npc repair.

not really, i already buy dark matter 5 with seal from start farming fate. Got around 100 in inventory with my seal @ 40k now.

so now you have to wear down your gear to get items to repair your gear. i can't see why zerging fates naked in order to repair your gears is a good game design.

100 per 10 mins ruffly without skill boosting.
600 per hour.

where are u farm dude?

its like 1 min, 10 shard.
1 spot mining only provide 4shard (or 5 if high quality site)

need to go to 25 mining site. need to go around for the site (kinda far)

unless your are botting, its different story.

1 min 10 shard is not that hard as you're just recycling through the same 3 mining spots.

Central thanalan... Near to bone camp(forgot the name)... Basically its triangle spot farming... 2 at the top small hill... 1 down below. I spot near to giant ant. Ignore it wasting time only...
