like everyone said on previous posts, HR handles interviews, hiring, payroll as well as sacking. it depends what level are you in. it is not an easy job especially on payroll because you have to make do on both sides (employer and soon-to-be employee). at times, you need to get things done soon (hiring) because a department need people in there. all in all, i can say it is quite challenging job.

one advice: please drive an old car whenever you're about to sack someone. just for safety precaution, if you know what i mean wink.gif

btw, if you get bored of ur company, you could become a headhunter too smile.gif

Headhunter is something like Manpower or Kelly services. Search employee/worker for your client smile.gif

Oh yeah, for headhunter, when you successfully close a deal, you'll get commission too. as for my pay, I'm a small f@rt in my company. I'm just helping out coz I don't really consider myself as a HR Executive. only RM1,700 cry.gif . (btw, this is my temporary job smile.gif )Anyway, work your way up. Interesting yet stressful job. That's how I know through my sister smile.gif

well, it depends on how much experience you have. you will get a basic pay + commission. so, based on experience, if you're good/vast experience under your belt, you could handle big deals (such as hiring manager for antother company etc...) . me graduated from uk.

just work your way up to manager post 1st.. then only consider the headhunter option.
