for your car warranty it is best you refer to your service workshop
as the warranty is provided by them

however by changing a drop in air filter it should not void your car warranty

Drop in is same type with original filter
just take out and replace, use back the original box

Open pod (mushroom) replace the whole intake box

drop in better for daily city drive

open pod for heavy mod or track use purpose
