i've installed Gigabyte G-Power BL to my Pentium D 820 & i got this temp, 48°C idle & 61°C heavy load...

izzit common?

i think its normal cause try this cooler b4 at 2.4ghz prescott. idle 52c-load 60c.if oc to 3ghz++ gonna hit 70c++ at load.not good for intel i think.

well, the temp did drop around 5-7°C...& my room is not air-conditioned...juz a fan for myself....

have u ppl seen Dell Precision's Pentium 4 CPU Cooler? it has 6 heatpipe with 80mm fan ...too bad the MOBO doesnt have monitoring chips...i don't know how well the cooler can do...

better get thermaltake big typhoon VX...or the new Zalman CNPS9700...

these are a good cooler...

i used G-Power BL, connects the fan directly from the PSU & it's quiet....

my Sunon Maglev fan are noisier if i connects it to the 12V pin...

My Pentium D 820 @ stock speed temp using G-Power BL are 43C Idle 53C Load.

My previous temp using the same cooler are 48C idle 61C Load

that's quite a change...

I installed Sunon Maglev 92mm fan to the side of case...giving the cooler extra cool air from outside...

no lar...the rear fan blows ait out, the front suck air from the outside while on the side u can do whatever you want...how can your case get cool if you don't have exhaust & intake rite?
