Sigh...
My Thermalright Ultra 120 have a problem with my Thermaltake Tsunami Dream casing...

I can't close the sidepanel if the original 90MM fan on the sidepanel is there... sad.gif

So what do i do know is i have to take out the 90MM fan on the sidewindow...

Sigh...
Thinking of modding the sidepanel to fit a 120MM fan... blush.gif

Will there be anymore blockage later on? sad.gif

Wanna ask all you guys for some opinion laa... icon_question.gif

i concur with this suggestion.... helps reduce noise and also helps reduce dust in the case... n more importantly... helps fit ur heatsink....

i suggest getting another piece of acrylic for ur side window with NO blowhole.... but if u itchy wan blowhole then get one acrylic and cut a blowhole for ur GC thumbup.gif

can always get ianho to do it for u.

Yes, but, how to cover the original blowhole? blink.gif
And furthermore, i don't think i want to pick another new arcylic as this original arcylic is better... rclxms.gif

I just wanted to find a way to cover that 90MM blowhole... thumbup.gif

Anyone know how?
Can a fan grill do that kinda job? blink.gif

u wanna cover??? i suggest keeping the ori acrylic la bro... coz itll look weird with just the blowhole there and no fan.... not to mention itll let dust and other things in too...

just go for a new piece and keep the original.... im sure u have some extra money after selling off the ninja brows.gif

Cover up the sidepanel hole leh, an intake there won't benefit the Ultra-120. wink.gif

Ninja not up to expectations? I find it to be excellent and for all intents and purposes, just as good as the Ultra-120 if not more versatile. Can't say the same for the Infinity tho, that only works well in high airflow. smile.gif

That Titan looks cool but result was a letdown on a single core p4. One thing about the review strikes me as very true:

"To my mind, the problem of such coolers is that the era of super-hot processors and, accordingly, of super-efficient coolers has come to an end."

In fact, I also started taking notice on HSFs / Cooling cos I bought the super-hot Pentium D 830. I paid so much (at that time) for a spanking new processor and ended up spending another couple hundred on cooling.

But no regrets cos I find that studying and testing fans and HSFs was a really fun experience for me (except for cutting myself on the thin HSF fins).
