that was with 'express-slap-on' arctic silver 5. might probably give better temp once the as5 cures in brows.gif

Some more notes to add

* If you have DDRs at the left side of the socket, the fan shroud from HTX will have air blown to them and cool them a little bit. However if you have RAM with tall heatspreader like the Corsair Pro/Dominator series I'm afraid it will block it.

* HTX is not that tall. I can close my sidepanel and have some more space between the sidepanel and the 'top' of the heatsink. I would say if you have a casing which is about 7" wide, it should be just fine. Mine is about 8".

CoreTemp doesn't mean that it's directly related to Core Duo or anything
