In theoretical speaking 8 vs 6 heat pipes .. TR should win

but the base plate of both coolers are different ... one is nickel plated while Nortua isn't ..

this mean Nortua could win in term of heat transfer from CPU to the base while TR loose on that.

however the remaining is which heat pipes technology is more efficient in transferring heat from base plate to the fins ..

Until there's a direct comparison review from internet or personal review from forumer.. it remains debatable

but the reality is both cooler works well and should have no problem to handle daily stress .. the difference wouldn't be noticeable much if extreme OC isn't applied.

oo...i see. Ya IMO it's true that more pipes more heat can be transfered to the pipe. hmm.gif

i have used ttbtvx and currently on geminiII...eventhou the anadtech said both performed almost similar but for me geminiII wins...especially with Quadcore, my ttbtvx cannot cool by quad setup, geminiII works great...then u have the 2 120mm fan support...no need to put extra cooling for ur ram...price is cheaper than ttbtvx too...so for my setup...on performance, value and price...geminiII rox!!!

FM122 costs around rm60. 2 units around rm120 + geminII (rm140) = rm260 sweat.gif

actaully faster fan with higher CFM would not boost the performance equally.........a sillent fan would do the job nicely already,

u can check out some review on geminII, they change whole bunch of fans and difference is minimal

about twin fan system :
i got a plenty of spare fans to collect dust , so why not use them all (as possible) .
is a twin fan performance really promising ? (don't mind about noise)

how is the setup should be ? (blow CPU heatsink)
install stornger fan inside or outside or must use 2 identical airflow / speed ?
