Wanna ask here, before i changed my stock cooler to Zalman CPNS 9500 LED, my idle temp is about 40, and 62 load, now it decrease a  lot and make me wondering...idle about 20 and load about 35

Anyone know why it happens?

I've stressed my CPU using Prime 04 about 1 hour 30 min, and normally stress my CPU about 8-9 hours for 3D MAX rendering...(final project, last nite 15 hours stress, my CPU 100% in 15 hours rclxub.gif )

Anyway, put me in the list

Pentium D 930 Presler (no OC)
Zalman CPNS 9500 LED
Idle 20???
Load 35???

Later i'll post my sreen shot

ok lets start over again anyone got ideas bout CoolerMaster Hyper 48?
*
Hyper 48 is not a real peformer...
Might as well go for Thermalright XP-90C, but dunno if RLHH still have it or not... sweat.gif

Or, if you could find any XP-120, that should do it... thumbup.gif

***You should close you're thread...
If you don't know how, go to bottom of the page, then find "Moderation Option" on the bottom, left of the page, then click "Close This Topic" then, click the "Go" button... thumbup.gif

Those two new heatsink from CoolerMaster looks very Fugly liao... sweat.gif
It seems like there's not even a little esthatic on both of the heatsink...

I wonder how does they perform if compared with their own best heatsink so far? blink.gif
[I'm talking about Hyper 6+] blush.gif

Just wondering if anybody wanna take over my xp90c +LGA775 bracket? It's unused anyway, RM 183 for it +free postage from Rlhh. Anybody interested do PM me  rclxms.gif
*
Forgive me for asking this..
RM183?

Isn't sound so high?

RLHH is selling that XP90 C for RM125 for the heatsink + RM25 for the LGA775 RM...

That means RM150 for the heatsink together with the LGA775 RM...

Err...
Wanna tell us why the price is RM183? blink.gif

Ninja?
Ehh, i thought you've said earlier that ninja can't be fitted in you're casing...

Or, have you changed you're casing? shocking.gif

Wanna tell us what casing are you using now? brows.gif

Hi guys... I need some advice.  icon_question.gif  Can anyone recommend me a good CPU heatsink+fan for my Athlon 64.. its socket 754 btw.. thanks guys!!
*
Socket 754, it's kinda hard to seek for this socket aftermarket heatsink...
But i'm sure there is... laugh.gif

What about G-Power Pro?

Or why don't u google up into those aftermarket heatsink producer websites and look for a heatsink that can be fitted in that socket... wink.gif

c'mon... i'm sure someone here uses socket 754.... no one?  shocking.gif
*
K7 is the same with socket 754 right?
[Sorry, but my knowledge in AMD is really low... sweat.gif ]

If it's the same, then this heatsink should fit in:

It's Thermalright SI 97

here's the link:
http://www.thermalright.com/a_page/main_product_si97.htm

Another three i've found is from CoolerMaster

1)CoolerMaster Hyper TX
2)CoolerMaster Hyper 6+
3)CoolerMaster Hyper 48

here's the link:
Hyper TX: http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/Products.aspx?pid=1261
Hyper 6+: http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/Products.aspx?pid=1069
Hyper 48: http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/Products.aspx?pid=912

*
If still can't fit, then there's only one solution, you have to buy all those old models of thermalright heatsink, such as, XP120, XP90C, XP90, SI120 and SI127... thumbup.gif

Not to forget Gigabyte G-Power Pro heatsinks, this kind of heatsink is much much lower than those sky tower heatsinks... laugh.gif

Why do u need that force to cool down that Ultra 120? blink.gif

I'm using Vantec Spectrum UV Led 120MM fan for my Ultra 120, and i think it's quite enough already to cool down my Pentium D 930 @ 4GHz to 40celcius... thumbup.gif

It occupies 4 heatpipes... shocking.gif

Where got chipset heatsink with 4 heatpipe?

Where aa powerslide? shocking.gif

I don't care about what shape that chipset heatsink is...
But since it's more heatpipe that has been thoroughly put to the heatsink, then the temperature spreading will be much better... rclxms.gif \

Anyway, today, i just go to LYP...
And surveyed LYP, and touched a new cooler from CoolerMaster...

It's CoolerMaster Hyper LX...

And there i stood for about 5 minutes, appereciating it, damn, it's beautiful...
And to add up, the weight of that heatsink, is about half of the older Hyper 6+...

It's so light... wub.gif

But, no one knows how well does that heatsink performs...
Anyone have tried it before? blink.gif

We are the same man...
Who knows what NB chipset heatsink is that aa? drool.gif

Anyway, about the price of the LX, ahh, i've forgot to look at the price of those heatsinks...

Eclipse and mars are also out in the stores already...
They are stacked properly on a shelf of CoolerMaster products...

Not really interested on the mars and eclipse model as they are quite fugly to me... laugh.gif

I've already sold two of my Hyper 6+ a long time ago edi... tongue.gif

Now i have two heatsink...

One is Thermalright XP120 and Thermalright Ultra 120

The Ultra 120 is used on the Intel Pentium D 820 [Running at 3.8GHz] PC
While the XP120 is used on the Intel Pentium D 930 [Running at 4GHz] PC...

If u're asking why didn't i use the Ultra 120 [Yes, i know that Ultra 120 is better in cooling then XP120] on the Pentium D 930 processor, the answer is simple...

The XP120 surface is facing the motherboard, so it doesn't only cool of the processor, but it cools all the mosfet, capacitors, and all other things that is soldered on the motherboard... thumbup.gif

That's why i choose XP120 over Ultra 120... wink.gif

And another thing why i choose XP120 over Ultra 120 for my Pentium D 930, it's because i'm using my Pentium D pc in Thermaltake Tsunami Dream Casing that heatsink cannot be fitted in the casing, yes, it can, but i have to take the 90MM fan on the sidepanel, otherwise, i can't close the sidepanel... sweat.gif

That's the other reason why i choose XP120 over Ultra 120...

Another simple reason is, because XP120 looks much sexier than the Ultra 120...
With XP120, i can clearly see the heatpipe... wub.gif

bro ianho also agrees in me in saying that XP120 is very much sexier than the ultra 120...
That's why he choose to use XP 120 for his king kong pc... thumbup.gif

Actually the TR Ultra-series fins are slightly curved downwards at the other end and with slightly high pressure fan it will cool the motherboard area.

u don't mean Coolermaster Hyper TX don't u? i haven't found any LX in CM's catalogue/webbie.

HyperTX reviews showed positive response, at least on par with SI-128.
*
Err...
You're right...

It's hyper TX...

My bad...
My bad... laugh.gif

Damn, it's light...

On par with SI 128?
How to compare it with the performance of Hyper 6+? blink.gif
