Right, here's my "air duct"!!! Don't laugh aaa..... going for cooling rather than looks....  tongue.gif

Both fans using cooler master silent fan. Right fan at full speed. Left fan variable speed using speedfan to control. Still silent!  rclxms.gif

Now orthosing at 2.77 Ghz at 1.40v in hot room (air-con not on), core temp at 57-58'c. Used to be 61-62'c when using normal fan position (attached to heatsink)!

Planning to get a high cfm fan later.......  whistling.gif

good idea there. but not very practical for day to day use.
if u use a cold air induction on that, it would be superb for clocking

My mobo is on lying flat on top of my casing so it would not be a problem for me. The air-duct is supported by the protruding heat-pipes at the top (no additional support needed)

Ya, was thinking of channelling some cold air from my air-con (through a tube that is connected to the air-duct via a side hole) but my wife would probably throw a fit!!! sweat.gif

I would go for 120 extreme. Best of the best. Difference from Tuniq not even RM100. As for the fan,can search yourself. Silent fan, loud fan, any fan.

tuniq is good value buy since it comes with fan but problem is i already has a fan. i intend to get ultra120 extreme paired up with big typhoon VX's 9 blade fan(really blow).

both hsf unavailable at this time. one MOQ not met, another one hard to find stock....

should i just get the current king (ultra120Extreme) or a notch lower (tuniq)? both are very good.

Ya, saw that review also. Good for cooling but would be impractical. Not to mention the weight and cost of that huge heatsink. Imagine bringing that rig for repair.... You'd probably need a trolley..... doh.gif

In this case, watercooling would be a better choice.....

what review? it's not even on sale yet. moreover, that heatsink is part of their casing set. i doubt it sell separately as it won't fit in normal case. and it's not very heavy too (the heatsink)

The TR combination mobo looks absolutely gorgeous..

Come to think about it, it aint a bad idea you know the gigantic HSF. For very hot proc, you can always use that HSF and convert it into a nice BBQ grill..LOL..
