probably HS din fix good enuff?

or try take everything out reapply thermal paste n HS

or even too much cacing thus bad airflow

He already did that...
For twice, and he still got that kinda temperature...

Hmm...
There must be something wrong...

Or maybe powerslide is right...
Can show us the picture your casing internal? thumbup.gif

That way, we can help you out... flex.gif

izit..i also not sure ler
idle 70C?crazy high wei sweat.gif

if u attach the hsf properly n use a good thermal paste..then the next thing u must check is ur casing air flow..it plays an important 4 ur temp..make sure the cable is tidy..intake n exhaust fan are there 2 perform good air flow
yalo..mine also slow exhaust the heat..tht's y reach 44C when case close

but PD is still better than prescott..definately cooler

Hahaha...
Suddenly you've become so active in this topic ehh jason? laugh.gif

Good for you... cheers.gif

**akash, check your internal casing...
For best way to guide us to help you, give us the picture of the internal of your casing... thumbup.gif

That's the best way... wink.gif

Look at his motherboard...
It's ABIT...

Abit were known to have a problem of reporting higher temperature reading than any other motherboards... sweat.gif

Aiya, dun ask me laa...
Ask ABIT technician loo...

It's a normal for abit motherboard users...
They tend to report higher temperature than usual...

Why don't u use an other type of temperature sensors to know the real temperature of your processor... wink.gif

Akash, you should really tidy up your cables...
It's so messy in there... sweat.gif

When it's messy, then there will be bad airflow...

Better tidy up all those cables...
Looks like there's so many cacing in there... laugh.gif

Hehehehe....Can this make my temp go high????Tomoro wanna tidy up the cable and reposition the heatsink..

P.S. Front fan suck the air in..Behind fan suck the fan out.Side pannel fan suck in the air..
*
Yes..
It can make your temp go high... sweat.gif

Ahh, another thing, that heatsink are placed on the right spot, don't change on how does the fan blows the air out... thumbup.gif

***This is the problem of ARCTIC COOLING heatsinks, the fan are too damn slow... sweat.gif

Slow fan = Low CFM... doh.gif

Well technically it can..There are screws to unscrew the fan. thumbup.gif

Then, how do you intend to "ikat" the fan? blink.gif

By using cable ties? laugh.gif

wah!!ur cable kinda messy lo laugh.gif

redo ur cabling..it will gv better air flow smile.gif
*
See?
Everyone says u should redo your cabling...

Redo it back...
Clean all dust...
Then, make sure got one Intake fan and exhaust fan...

Ahh, for the exhaust fan, do make sure u didn't use a fast fan...
Use a slow moving fan...

Low cfm...
Coz if u're using high cfm fan, than there will be no air circulation for the cpu heatsink....

Correct me if i'm wrong please...

exhaust fan must be low cfm fan?u sure?then air suck out also slow?my CM fan suck out hot air slow like shit rclxub.gif

2 days meh?u actually count it? laugh.gif
*
Exhaust fan have to be slow, but not to slow...
But the intake fan is better if you use a high cfm... thumbup.gif

The intake fan that i mean is the fan on the front of the casing, the hard disk bay...
For the sidewindow fan, [if you have so] don't use a high cfm... smile.gif

Use a slow one also as this would make the fan suck the hot air that has just been thrown out by the exhaust fan on the rear of the casing... wink.gif

Got it? cool.gif

QUOTE(mADmAN @ Sep 9 2006, 12:09 PM)
wat ur trying to do is create a positive air pressure in ur case la bro... more air in less air out. generally its an accepted thought that negative pressure is better than positive. more air out than more air in. so if ur gonna play with the pressures its better to have more air out aka negative pressure so the hot air wont stay in the case too long and end up being recycled by the HSF.

negative pressure will suck out all the hot air out faster. but the bad thing is itll suck all the cold air in from each and every crack in ur case... meaning dust will be coming in from everywhere as itll be sucking them in too. good for temps bad for dust.

positive pressure will be pushing cold air in and also force the hot air out thru all the cracks in ur case... this is good for dust control coz ur dust intake will be concentrated in 1 area. good for dust...not so good for temps.

the best of course is to have a balance between positive and negative. difficult to achieve sadly.

personally id prefer to setup a positive pressure in my case... coz my room is friggin dusty. but its at negative now by the way.
*
So, there's no way we can get a positive pressure?
Hard eeh?

But, i've read from somewhere else that we should only use low cfm exhaust fan...
I'll try to look to where i found it...

If i found it again, i'll post here the link for sure... icon_rolleyes.gif

eh nono...positive pressure and negative pressure is easy to get. its the BALANCE of both thats hard to get.

Okay...

But, is there an easy way to get it though? wub.gif

got la dude... the one u were talking about with me in PM is the delta focus flow la.. Delta FF... or Delta FFB... model is FFB1212EHE doh.gif
as mentioned above its FFB1212EHE with 3.0A. as of this moment there are NO retail fan controller that can officially support it. although theres 1 on sidewinder that can control it but they still dont advise to use it with the fan...

the model of the 80mm should be FFB0812EHE.
*
Ohhh....
Yeah, i forgot... doh.gif

Anyway...
How's u're deal with shah81 on testing his 4.0A fan controller?
Tested yet? drool.gif
