i had experience on D600 for a few week, indeed is a good switch from a D7000 user, provide you have FX lens to harness the true power of FF...amazing speed and buffer, plus it uses the same sensor and Expeed technology from D800 but in a cheaper package
but some small problem i found is that it uses back the same Focusing system in the D7000, so basically all the AF point are cramped in the middle...for me is pointless la for so many AF point all cramp in the middle if got chance, try look at D300s model, all the AF points are fully covering the frame, but actually this is not a big deal ![]() is same question, and the answer is invest in lens is far more better than body as the IQ is mainly from the lens that you are using my faithful D50 and 85mm, which is still providing me with good color » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « well if you really wanted a FF, then go for it This post has been edited by lamjunrong: Sep 5 2013, 06:55 PM |

well seems like u can afford the body, can u afford the new lens enough for you to enjoy the body..
i was thinking the same thing and i didnt make the jump to ff rather picking up a d7100 from a d90 cause lens are just too expensive for me atm |

Couple the D600 with a 50mm and you are good to go.
Full frame is great for wide angles. 24mm on full frame is plenty wide. If you want a general purpose lens the 24-85mm f3.5-4.5 is good. Wide landscapes to portraits can be done. Coupled with the 50mm f1.8 and most normal situations can be covered. Who says you need lots of expensive glass? |

QUOTE(hammerhead8901 @ Sep 5 2013, 05:11 PM) Is D7000 upgrade to D600 worthy? I'm getting a unite good price for D600 body. Seriously need ur opinion..ur opinions r much appreciated:) thanks:) I think the reason why you get a good price is possibly because of the announcement of the D610 (and also the D5300) which is just around the corner? Unless if you are really buying in a hurry, do wait for the D610, the price of the D600 will be even lower then If you insist on a D600, then please do check that its not the 1st few batches that suffer from the oil splattering issue |

it depends on what you shoot. The D7000 has some advantage over the D600.
I would just spend on better lens or lighting equipment rather than just upgrading the body. |
