Just wanna rant/share my exp :

I have a Citibank cash back plat (u know, the ugly blue card).

Since their cash back is not terrific, been using less and less, only about 1~1.5k average per month.

So, this time around they refuse to waive the RM195 annual fee (unless I change my card to a regular plat), hence I decided to cancel the card.

Now the problem started, since the Annual Fee is in the current statement, they will charge me 1 months AF regardless even if I pay immediately upon getting the statement. However, they will NOT give me my cash back (around RM60), they will only refund me the Cash Back I accumulated up to today, on NEXT statement. By then, they will charge me ANOTHER month's annual fee.

I just find it abit ridiculous, I cannot cancel my card immediately unless I want to forfeit my accumulated Cash Back, the sales rep I spoke to claim this is their "System" and hence I just have to suck it up.
