My bad did not realise this. But sensitive goods is around 18 to 20 here per KG. Though, the item being bought in this case was a Powerbank, no? Don't see why a powerbank would be deemed as a sensitive goods. I once bought one through normal shipping without problem.
bcoz powerbank got battery, battery is actually prohibited by air shipper as it is easily flammable (whether in country or cross country air delivery)
as long as the stuff got battery, got magnet, these things r easily detected while clearing customs, but u know m here custom efficiency... don't play this with sg customs though. some ppl wrap with aluminium foil
some logistic co. already mention if sending sensitive goods without first declaring it to them especially without paying 'additional fees to them', once it get caught, the whole stuffs (not just yours) get hold up by customs (custom not just hold your little stuff, they hold up a large batch of delivery stock to find up slowly later, can be months), the logistic co. can ask damages from you. just those agent sometimes wanted fast bisness without informing consignee clearly about this risk.
customs can either confiscate (if totally illegit e.g adult sxx toy) or ask customs duties from u. some ppl just discard that bcoz duties too much and has to prove the dutiable value.
for powerbank (low value stuff) it is ok to try, but for phone i would say i won't even wanna try sensitive channel, especially those cooperate with abx delivery company (if check other forum, u would know some co. already in target eye by customs, just a matter of time if picking your stuff). if phone get caught, not just customs duties, also need sirim approve, end up paying too much.
