decent phone but lack of brand recognition

when i first saw the link, i wish good luck to those who buying Redmi from Lazada. It's grey import. dont think warranty will cover by Xiaomi Malaysia!
*
No local warranty by Xiaomi, the Lazada's selling is imported set from China, so Lazada themself will provide warranty.

QUOTE(Hanford @ May 9 2014, 09:58 AM)
same AP ?

only different local or own warranty ?
*
Yes, as for now if you buy from Lazada or other dealer (other than Xiaomi themselves), there's no warranty provided by Xiaomi Malaysia. Most are imported sets (AP set)

Unless that you buy it after Xiaomi's Malaysia launch, then probably Lazada will get the Malaysian local set to sell.

this year ?  hmm.gif

RM630 ?  hmm.gif
*
Less than RM500.

From this source, if the price is same as China's, the Redmi is likely to be priced around RM399 while the Redmi Note at about RM530.

How to know??
*
TD version is only working with China network. It won't support our local GSM. If you buy, you'll only able to use 2G network in Malaysia and not 3G. WDCMA version works in our local GSM, 2G and 3G.

QUOTE(tanalvis @ May 9 2014, 10:47 AM)
Just a word of advice, if you guys wanna buy casing or screen protector, better buy from those best seller in taobao. Those Nilkin or IMAK casing in local are selling way expensive and ppl in china dont buy NILKIN brand...

Please buy tempered glass screen protector instead of those matte/clear plastic SP... After using glass screen protector for mi3, I will never go back to those ordinary screen protector.

Later i will post my new mi3 casing  brows.gif
*
How much it cost for the glass SP?

Don't think the price will change. SG also selling it at only SGD13.99. Note that Xiaomi product price won't differ much across all country they selling.
