RM889 phone, what to expect  sweat.gif ..even able to get a snapdragon 800 at this price is worth it already.
*
I never say its not worthy what. I just say that its a fake self shiok for thinking its a 801 tongue.gif

is 16GB enough for you guys? I see nobody complaining. That's my problem with this phone. Else, definitely getting it.

64gb is no where in sight. Mi3s is what, "few" months away? And then RM1k+ (poorfag here). 4G LTE, I dont think I use that often, I heard coverage not yet wide anyway.
*
Well it depends on each individual usage 1 la. But for me I will usually skip device with non removable battery and no sd card suuport. As for 4g it depends on where you are lor. For klang valley I think maxis has pretty wide coverage already, which I plan to port over soon.

I thought somebody said is 15th @@ ??
*
Rumors mi3s might not be released on this 15th event, only mi pad and miui v6 and new mi tv. Will need to wait till that day only knows. Huawei and coolpad also going to their press con on the same day for new products.

Too many ppl buy via online, surely sold out within mins.. I have fren from singapore , he only managed to get for himself last week from online purchase, after fews times attempt via online.
*
Which is why I dont like to buy from small manufacturer, always had limited stock. Rather buy from those with similar specs and has high stock availability. Hate the concept of you can see but you cant buy.

Higher Profile Manufacturer, Higher price.

Take some, give some
*
High profile manufacturer in china are also joining the price war, so there actually more choices available at similar specs. smile.gif

QUOTE(droidtrix @ May 11 2014, 12:35 PM)
as for me I rather buy at lower price with similar spec and also it is Unique Brand as not many ppl using it.
Like in my office most of them using Apple and Samsung. I want to be a bit different from others.

Apple and Samsung are too common these days.  whistling.gif  whistling.gif  whistling.gif  whistling.gif

Why is why I never owned any samsung phone or apple phone. smile.gif There are now alot more similar offering beside mi3 compare to previous years market.

I meant launching of Redmi Note in Malaysia... Xiaomi Singapore also not yet announce date for redmi note...
BTw, its 15 May not 13th May (refer picture below)
*
15th May is xiaomi event, redmi note enhanced edition is on sale by 13th May. Bit busy so quite late in reply. Dont believe go check on xiaomi site yourself. Today sales already end and next batch is on 20th May. If official launch here, wait at least few more months la I assumed.

Yea, totally agree with you. Redmi note don't think can get it so soon....Btw, you interested in getting Redmi note? (i know you got an octa core THL)... There is still Redmi 1s though (snapdragon)
*
Hongmi note is mt6592, new hongmi is snapdragon 400. Not much interested hongmi due to 1gb ram limitation. Now waiting for zte star 1 which had 4g support and kitkat 4.4.2 out of box, with clarity + with improved night shots.

Depend on user... For heavy user it might last around 6-8months.. For average probably 8-10mths .. N normal user, more than 1 year.. My wife used more than 1 year now still ok with no scratch. (For OPC 3sas) for Corning, still using on my iPhone 5, about 3 months plus.. Still very good.. Very minimal finger prints too.. Which is the most important for someone who have sweaty palms like mine.
Redmi 1s? Dunno will be here or not..
www.mi.com/my on 20th may
I'm waiting for the new mi3s
*
Already using snapdragon 801 at similar to mi3 rrp 1699 pricing so no point to switch over. Beside stock availability of small manufacturer is really a devastating let down, which I dont like to camp at pc just to buy a phone. Rather use those time to do something else which more beneficial

ZTE looks interesting but now using old ZTE that screen very wonky after short warranty period expired. Dunno my bad luck to get this one, otherwise good phone for cheap price.
*
So far so good with my 2 weeks old grand s 2, good and sharp.

QUOTE(tanalvis @ May 13 2014, 04:44 PM)
Wahh lao, i thought you just got your ZTE Grand S2 (snapdragon 801)? So fast get another one...How was the rom on zte??? Miui rom seems so good after using it
*
Star 1 is for testing purpose, since left only snapdragon 400 soc phone havent try out yet. After that will pass to family member. From various review its pretty good for its price, with slim design similar to huawei p7/p6

As for zte mifavor, definitely it still need alot more polish up compare to miui since its kinda new too. Just too bad it didnt use the the nubia UI which should be better. Just switch to another launcher if you dont like the looks so no big deal. Want more tweak just get the xposed framework. Other features like voice awake is pretty neat if is use in china, since for now only recognize mandarin. Currently just wait for the major kitkat upgrade only. B05 updates also should be available pretty soon.

It is good to see more china brand set their base up here to provide more competition and options to users, as phone pricing here is really not very attractive when you compare to mainland. Take lg g2 for example, price here still around rm1.3k+, where as pricing in china is already down to rmb 1800+
