I double confirm the calotes versicolor... the pic is a bit too blur but it really looks like it. And... ya... kind of stuff u don t wanna keep in a tank. They are far too jumpy. I bet it spend its time scratching the plastic and open its mouth when u approach it. Will be far too stress to survive long. It s a problem with most wild caught local agamids (calotes, gonocephalus etc...).
As for the basilisk... TAGGY!!!!
U took my mountain pit viper for a hognose, a calotes for a "malaysian brown basilisk"... what's happening??? careful... if you catch a big snake in a drain near your house, no it's not gonna be a blue striped malaysian anaconda...
