Reptile ID, for a lizard I caught at home

i got one big monitor lizard or iguana at home hiding in the drain...and will come out in the afternoon to sun bask near my pond and garden.until now its so hard to catch him?anyone has any bright ideas?

its a really disguiting pet loh~ an almost a full hand foot long...the reason why i wanted to get rid of it was some fish were missing from my pond...

wah! u dont say.....i have hamsters,rabbits,chicken and fish!!no wonder he is relutant to shift out

erm...u sure they will come if i call them to tell theres a lizard in my drain? they work 24 7 right? prob is sometimes its hiding there not everytime.. xecton sorry hijack ur thread for awhile

today that monitor lizard of my garden came swimming and took a giant goldfish along..luckily we came to the rescue on time;he let go of his prize and ran off...if i were die;i definetly kill him on the spot! now i know what happen to my lost pets before this..

i dont see the monitor lizard nowadays..maybe smarter..come at night perhaps? i heard ppl eat them....errrrr...how the meat looks like and taste? u eaten them before NZX?
