I hope this 4.3 update will fix the purple tint issue cuz before updating to 4.2.2, my phone never have this problem.

Still waiting for 4.3 update. News in BlinkFeed said that it's already rolled out to international version of HO. I just checked just now. Seems like it haven't arrived in Malaysia yet. Maybe I'll check again tomorrow morning.

So the purple tint is heat issue right? Thanks for making the experiment. I was about to make it too but right now I'm in college, and fridge is not provided in my hostel.
But then, I'll still return my HO to SenQ when I go back next week. I hope the repair won't take too long.

Guys if you don't have the purple tint issue, just don't leave your HO in hot areas. I once left it in my friend's car, when we went cycling. When I took my phone, it was really hot. After that I realized that I got purple tint on my camera.
So, this purple tint is resulted from heat. It maybe cause by us, it maybe cause during then manufacturing process(glueing screen and body with hot glue, perhaps there's little bit excessive heat during the process)
That's just my hypothesis anyway. But I'm confident that's the cause

Just don't let it get too hot or leave it at any hot place. Or the purple tint will come back

It's plastic, and the back is covered. So my phone is like, fried inside the case. I want the back to be exposed
Actually the poetic case did save my phone when it was dropped flat on the floor just now. The TPU part saved its screen. But still, I can't just let my phone heat up

But I'm afraid of the high temp will invite those purple tint on the camera again. Usually when my phone reaches about 35 degree, I'll put a few drop of water in the back of the phone and let it cool down. Now I cannot do so because my poetic case covered all over the back.

I guess it's long because the phone is on and Google now or services sucks quite a lit of battery, if it's on. That may affect the charging duration. And if you notice, the original charger is only 1A, which is kinda small for a powerful device like HO. Sometimes my battery did decreased during charging when I was playing graphic intensive games like Asphalt 7 and 8

That's really fast. How long does your phone last though? Mine charged to full faster now compared to when I bought it. it used up faster too. I guess my battery already Kong and need to be changed.



Guys, can I claim warranty if I have dropped my phone?
I hope HTC is not like apple who don't recognize warranty if got cosmetic damage.

I bought in June. Dropped it but the gap is not caused by drop. My camera got purple tint, my battery is faulty. Maybe because of heat. I left it in car under hot sun once
