QUOTE(kingsora @ Sep 10 2013, 03:47 PM) Lol you're still a meanie. Seems like the limeade movement died after this news then...QUOTE(nuttyking91 @ Sep 10 2013, 03:53 PM) Kinda lost track on the powerbanks thing thanks to all these camera issues flooding the thread. Guess I should be thankful my issue wasn't this camera thing. Maybe I have maybe I don't but so far everyone loves the photos so I'm good. Oh yeah, just a quick check, how's everyone's Poetic post-replacement? Mine's been awesome although the volume rocker is pretty tight these days, but nothing much to complain about. Still couldn't decide on an SP but so far I think mine's been pretty good thanks to the pouch I bought off from Sakurazzz. |

QUOTE(coldfission @ Sep 16 2013, 09:44 PM) took a few picture yesterday during the visit to the national museum. The low light condition make my htc one a perfect companion even though i have a cheapo nikon compact camera with me. however, in the bright light condition, 4MP simply ruin the sharpness of the pic, quality is damn bad.. T_T A tradeoff we got to live with when we decided to get this Ultrapixel camera haha. The best we can do is take some close ups. But hey don't be too sad, the wide angle camera must be quite convenient when taking pictures of large objects right? |

QUOTE(coldfission @ Sep 16 2013, 09:56 PM) the wide angle is pretty handy. just that the overall quality is not good for me, time for a QX10 perhaps Aww thats sad. Heh yeah, my phone has been abused quite a lot for selfies haha. Pretty convenient for that.the front camera is handy when we need to camwhore in a large group, the touch countdown timer is very useful.. QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Sep 30 2013, 01:45 AM) Shot a VERY bad lowlight vid with various lighting conditions on the HTC One 4.3 while on nightly stroll tonight. Please view with caution as it may cause motion sickness They said it's already available for international but up until now still nothing. Hmm that's pretty sad if it really didn't fix it. Yeah they're gonna get some serious backlash from us users. Your posts always full of angst huh But you're right, I'm expecting HTC to be the subject of a witch hunt after international release of 4.3 which supposed to fix the issue but didn't. |

QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Oct 4 2013, 12:27 AM) Previous post on HTC One with 4.3 are below. Overall I'm pretty impressed with the results that you got. Hopefully when the update comes to our shores I'll get similar results. Can't be arsed to actually send for warranty again..too much hassle for me. The short answer is that its still there but while its annoying, it minimized with 4.3 imo and actually I think the camera works quite well in real life situation at least for me though biggest gripe is it needs a lot more megapixels. So tonight I brought out my Sony Cybershot HX9V (not exactly too el cheapo) to have a look what we're gonna get with a dedicated camera rather than just complaint about the purple All the shots were shot with no editing beyond resizing to fit the forum. The Cybershot is shot on Intelligent Auto+ while HTC One's setting is default everything with sharpness set at -1. Shots with 16:9 ratio is from HTC One while the 4:3 ratio shots are from the Cybershot 1. Basement carpark lighting 2. Night Sky 3. Contrast lighting Has anybody with local set from telco or retail shops gotten the official 4.3 update yet? Everyday I check but to no avail. |

QUOTE(manypplwan @ Oct 4 2013, 05:38 PM) Guys if you don't have the purple tint issue, just don't leave your HO in hot areas. I once left it in my friend's car, when we went cycling. When I took my phone, it was really hot. After that I realized that I got purple tint on my camera. I don't know man, it's pretty hard not to let it be hot. Gaming, charging, mobile data are the common culprits. Here's hoping the 4.3 update will solve this issue for all of us.So, this purple tint is resulted from heat. It maybe cause by us, it maybe cause during then manufacturing process(glueing screen and body with hot glue, perhaps there's little bit excessive heat during the process) That's just my hypothesis anyway. But I'm confident that's the cause |

Hello again guys, been a silent watcher for quite some time now I'm back again. Yeah purple tint issue sure is a big deal for everyone worldwide. 4.3 with Sense 5.5 still not out yet.
Can we have a list of people of who successfully sent out and fixed the camera issue so far? That would be helpful. I can't bothered to send in and wait for I don't know how long before I can get it back. Already sent it out on the 4th day after purchase. To endure such a long wait again I think I'll have to think carefully lol. |
