it was HDBlog, italian blog, they say its "official" but don't cite the source. to date there's no real confirmed official response from HTC.

Regarding the purple issue, some say it is not a hardware issue.IF its not a hardware issue then why some peopthat's ke kingsora aremember ity's silver unit no problem?

Cause if its a DESIGN or SPECIFICATION issue, everybody would have this problem.

Just saying.

DiGi has yet to get back to me. I guess by end of Tuesday they still don't get back to me then tribunals here I come! But I am sad also, HTC One has got the best display in the market right now, period.

I love it so much.. sniff

This is just my personal opinion. So take it with a pinch of salt.

I think the problem is a mixture of hardware and software. HTC have QC issues. We all know that. So i don't think all parts are created equal. So thats why some have purple, some don't. That's why some reported after change camera better, some reported got worse.
This is where the software comes in. Calculations and algorithms of the software can come up with a correction factor to rectify it.

Early adopters of HTC One will remember the home button not sensitive enough. Hardware problem but the next update managed to fix that.

No problems, we all sharing opinion here. Even myself, I hope HTC can solve my issue, I just want a good, functioning phone as HTC advertised.

So far, HTC One is the best feeling phone in my hands.. iPhone 4S, 5, Note 2, SGS 4, all don't feel as good as the HTC One. Xperia Z is just oddly wide in my hands.

well indeed HTC One is one of the best feeling phone without casing that i have tried. the curved back drool.gif but IMO Nokia Lumia 920 feels very very nice as well due to the curved sides and back. brows.gif Only the weight let it down nod.gif

Even with casing the HTC One still got the curve.
