I no time to farm for ascended weapons

it takes 2 weeks to craft 1 weapon by yourself.

i heard crafting level 400-500 takes aroung 200g.... lol.... i will hold it for now.... mats price still crazy.....

managed to craft myself a Bolt however...

Did they add higher level materials already? Like, there's a higher cloth than Gossamer?

got special ascended crafting material.

dragonite ore = world bosses, orr temple events, dragons, etc
emfag fragments = jumping puzzles, dungeons, fractals of the mist
bloodstone dust = champ bags
glob of dark matter = salvage exotics with non craft-able inscriptions (soldiers magi shaman rapid dire sentinel)

can reach crafting 425 without crafting exotic weapons.

425 - 450 = craft exotic weapons
450 - 475 = refine ascended materials
475 - 500 = craft exotic weapons

hnngggh mahal.
i got my huntsman to 425 liao.
no more for me.

Now that I got to 500, an ascended weapon is around 9 days of time gating and 50g or less. Now the painful part is the vision crystal, looks like i need to play more wvw.

i got mine to 425 in all 3 crafting profession by refining oric and ancient wood... haven't moved past 425 yet.... lol

got my weaponsmithy to lvl 500 few days ago... by today i need just one more deldrimor ingot to craft the ascended claymore.


my advise to those who hasn't level up their weaponsmith/huntsmen/artificer to 500 yet to start doing it to at least 450 even if you have no intention to make ascended weapon yet. reason being there is one component at lvl 450 crafting level that can only be crafted once a day per account... at least by the time you want to craft the ascended weapon, you already have them stocked up (lump of mithrillium, etc).

Crafted whole set of armor. Crafting a weapon. Burn through my golds like hot knife through butter.

But crafting skill 400-500 doesn't required that much gold, I spend around 60-80g (selling the crafted items got me back some golds).

The big problem for me is acquiring the Dragonite and the Fragments.

Sold a precursor and most of my cores/lodestones for all the ascended gears. But its worth it I guess.

Not gonna bother with ascended armor at the moment.

Cloth prices are ridiculous.

hmmm i haz too many dragonite, fragments, i deleted a lot of them, only left 9 stacks of 250 each.

heheheh i still waiting for ascended weapons and armor to drop from the sky. aint gonna craft them.
maybe i should do more fractals, i read the patch notes that the drop rate seems to be improved or something.

I brought my lewtherworking from 400 to 500 by only losing 20g, my cost was about 100g but manage to earn back about 80g from TP.

Right now I'm getting ascended trinkets and accessories before moving on to weapons then armor. Stupid time gated elonian rag...

If armor is a pain, then I should be sad because my Light of Dwayna needs 15 damask LOL
