I've been using Lenovo A3000. It came straight out of the Box Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 (Even better than Samsung Note 2 old Android 4.1.2). It is not likely you are going to use this tablet for 10 years. Most will update gadget once a year so do not worry too much about spare parts. It is local warranty by Lenovo Malaysia and there should be no problem.
*Rear Camera is 5 megapixel better than Galaxy Tab 2 (3.15 mp )
* Quad Core processor 1.2Ghz Lenovo A3000 compared to Dual Core Processor 1Ghz of Galaxy Tab 2 (more processing power)
*Resolution is the same. Except that Lenovo is IPS Screen which excellent viewing at any angle (Apple iPad also using IPS Screen)
*Lenovo A3000 has dual sim card compare to only 1 sim card for Galaxy Tab 2. (In my case I have 2 active sim 1 for work and 1 for family and friends)
*2 stereo speakers for Lenovo compared to single speaker for Galaxy Tab.
*HSPA+ 42.2mbps speed for Lenovo A3000 and HSDPA 21.1Mbps speed for Galaxy Tab 2. (Faster 3.5G connection)
*Free Original Lenovo Screen Protector and Lenovo flip casing. This is better than purchase non-original crap SP or casing from the shop. ( Samsung never gave out free SP or Flip Casing for Galaxy Tab 2)
*Most likely you're buying original local set for Lenovo A3000 ( price is very cheap) compare to AP set Samsung cheaper Local Set Samsung more expensive.
* Charging cable is micro USB-which is widely available for most smartphones. Galaxy Tab 2 has it own charging cable. Quite a hasle to bring more cable rather than just bring one micro USB cable and share.
