need recomandations for tyre change 225/45/R17, tyre newbie here..

before this, i see quite a amount of topic here.. found out most ppl suggest PS3.

What's your budget? That kinda size usually belongs to a BMW.
Cheap and cheerful (RM350-400) - Nexen N8000, GT Radial Champiro HPY Mid-range budget (RM500-550) - Continental MC5, Goodyear F1 Asy 2 Lotsa budget (RM600-RM1k) - Bridgestone Potenza RE002 or Michelin PS3, Michelin Primacy LC or HP |

How about 245/40/17 tyre recommendation? Mine running on staggered wheels. The 245/40/17 is not so common. A mechanic told me that I can use 235/40/17 which may be easier to source.

If you want a Value for $$ Tyre, that my frens say performs almost 80% as good as a GYAY2 or even CSC, get the Champiro HPY.
