where to get new 3ds xl ? what the diff between US and jpy ver and which better ?

US can play US & ASI (Malaysia & Singapore) region game. Japan can play Japan region game.

Games sold in Malaysia and Singapore are mostly ASI & US region games.

Not so much as which is better but rather which game languages you wanna play, and availability of the games.

my wii ac power adapter i think is burnt, coz i played for some time then it suddenly "pop" and the power is gone.

considering whether to buy original or third party adapter? since original also doesn't have overheating problem, should i get third party instead? how much the price difference?

if you can find the original, that would be best. But I think you'd mainly be stuck with using the third party one.

indeed can only find third party one.. realized that the power supply slowing gaining heat the longer time u play it.. need to rest the Wii about every one hour or so

You guys register your 3DS XL region under Malaysia or US?

Choose US region la, nothing in eShop for Malaysia region.
Pick Alaska or Oregon for tax free region.

Or you could go for Canada to purchase with credit card, since US region can only purchase digital games with topup cards.

CAN eshop content is exactly the same like US

and with the RM having diarrhea now, CAN is only RM2.9 while USD is almost at RM3.7 already

only diff is none of the CAN states are tax free, not much saving during the 1USD RM3.2 era as after tax is much or less the same
