Haha.ape susah pegi je kedai buat NNS BPL dah boleh.hehe

NNS BPL tu apa? i x prnh buat la cristina hehehe blush.gif

if that goal.com story is to be believed, ozil had already arrived in london before the spurs game to get his first medical and to get himself used to the surroundings. i guess levy had an idea of this when he delayed bale's transfer. but after all of that, spurs still lost and we get a player better than any of their signings.

ahh, what an excellent few days we've had. rclxm9.gif

^ i actually feel kind of sorry for the madrid fans. they desperately wanted ozil to stay. most of them dont even want bale hahah. and ozil left with a good reason as well, leaving after losing his spot to isco who had a great game

so in a nutshell we sold gervinho to get ozil.

gervinho->roma->lamela
lamela->spurs->bale
bale->madrid->ozil
ozil->arsenal->gervinho

thank you to black messi, to messi's argentinian teammate, and especially to gareth bale, who was from the start until the end, a gooner. would not have made it without you.

yeah. per has been an absolute boss as captain so far, but no reason to further unsettle the belgian. not only he sees more germany players in arsenal, now he also sees more of his belgian teammates in spurs.

notice he said "win the title FOR arsenal", not "WITH arsenal". this is the difference between a guy with a winning mentality and a talented youngster.

of course, i dont expect this guy to start professing his love for the club, when he obviously doesnt. so if we dont win anything in the next 3-4 years we'll start seeing ego problems and sulkings.

not that i'll care that much, aside from ozil i am super excited about the development of aaron ramsey and jack wilshere as our dynamic duo. may this bring about more worldclass players!

so i just started a new career in fifa with ozil/ramsey/wilshere and santi/giroud/walcott... i rarely use ozil in CAM when i play germany, always preferred goetze or my virtual pro to play there. safe to say it's probably my first proper time having ozil as CAM. he played a superbly timed through ball for giroud that i almost had a heart attack, perrrrggghhhhh what a delicious ball!
not to mention he had an assist for theo walcott with a chipped through pass to put walcott one on one against vorm. sedappppp gilaaa

i know this is just a game but yeah biggrin.gif

lukas podolski out until next year

WELP! we might see cazorla more often there, rotated with possibly gnabry or even rosicky, since now his place is taken by mesut

Mesut Ozil's first interview after joining Das Arsenal

DFB: Big speculations, where is Mesut Özil, transfer to Arsenal London, yesterday it was set, you transferred from Real Madrid to Arsenal. Why Arsenal?

Özil: First of all, I'm really happy. The manager trusts me which is extremely important for me as a player. I'm also excited about my new teammates like Lukas Podolski or Per Mertesacker. I'm excited for the new tasks which I await. I heard about their awesome fans, the city is great, the team is great, I'm just happy to be there.

DFB: Arsene Wenger, big manager speaks german fluently, is this helpful for you?

Özil: Of course and not only him, like I said before a few of my friends from the national team play at Arsenal who will help me. I'm just happy about my new task at Arsenal.

DFB: A few days ago you said you are 100% at Real Madrid, why did you change your mind so quickly?

Özil: At this point in time I was confident that I stay at Madrid. But over the course of the days I felt that I didn't have the trust from the manager and the board. I'm a player who needs the trust and Arsene Wenger gave it to me. Because of that I transferred to Arsenal.

DFB: Is the world cup part of your decision?

Özil: Yes it is. Wenger trusts me and that helps me to develop even further. I want to be fit for the world cup, I mean I know that I could have fought for a starting position at Real, I'm confident in my abilities and I can start for every club in the world. But as I said, I need the trust from my manager which I didn't had at Madrid. I'm also excited to play in the premiere league.

DFB: You're excited for the game against Austria.

Özil: Sure, it is in Bavaria in front of the home crowd we will have a great game.

DFB: Last question, the fans in Madrid really like you, you have to say something to them?

Özil: Sure, I heard about what happened at the press conference and it makes me happy and sad altogether. I liked Madrid and the fans and I'm happy that they cheered for me for so long. I wish Real and the fans all the best.

I'm thinking if at the end ozil say no, what will b Pak weng backup plan? Or just say we did our best, no go.

i think ozil wasnt a last day buy, i'm thinking he had like around one week to work on the transfer. a player of ozil's stature doesn't move with a day's notice. if ozil doesnt want to leave arsene will know early, and work on other players. of course he could've snubbed us late, good thing it didnt happen.

and this summer was different. we were involved with higuain, suarez, to a certain extent rooney, and ozil. wenger didn't lie about top, top, top quality signings. if things went our way we might have suarez and ozil today

keeping suarez was a great job well done by the board. selling reina and getting in mignolet was genius too

i imagine RM and ancelotti didnt want to keep ozil, plus they need to fund the bale transfer a bit, you dont just spend 86mil for a player without recovering some cash and player space.

if isco wasnt there i think RM would've rejected the bid. maybe not in public, they'd just laugh at arsene bidding for their best player and thinking he'll want to leave. but the case with ozil is that he wants to leave, the management doesnt mind him leaving, we want him and is willing to pay for him, and they need the money to fund bale. it was in both club's interests.

with liverpool tho, brendan rodgers was adamant that he doesnt want to sell suarez, the whole board doesnt want to sell him, but the player himself wants to leave. so they take it public and started harassing wenger, said we were disrespectful and "smoking something". plus suarez is in contract for 3 years(?), so they were not obliged to sell or risk him going in a free transfer like rvp. we dont like the way rodgers handled the transfer story, but in the end he got what he wanted.

of course there's still next january, by then suarez might have done some damage to the team morale and rodgers decided to sell him off to madrid for 55mil, and we'll arrange another partnership with madrid to fund some of that transfer money by getting di maria/benzema for 30mil.

After months of on-off negotiations, the club’s chief executive, Ivan Gazidis, was made aware on Saturday that Real Madrid would be willing to sell Mesut Özil for £42 million.

The problem, however, was that Özil himself had always seen his future at Madrid and would need some convincing.

Wenger immediately broke off from his preparations for Sunday’s north London derby, dialled Özil’s phone number and, after a series of lengthy conversations in German, was quietly confident that the deal had been done.

He had outlined his vision for how he wants his team to play, how he saw Özil becoming his creative conductor and, above all, how this would just be the start of Arsenal competing with the superpowers of European football for the world’s best players. Conversations with Per Mertesacker and Lukas Podolski followed, leaving Özil convinced.

While Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy was at the Emirates watching his team lose 1-0 to Arsenal, Gazidis was arriving in Spain to conclude a deal with Madrid.
