QUOTE(funnyTONE @ Sep 4 2013, 05:01 PM) Not too keen on San Iker. With Viviano coming, the fight is more challenging and Sczeszny have to bare in mind not to play around knowing he is the 1st choice.I feel like he might just 'demand' his place in the first team rather than fight for it with Sczeszny. I like Julio Cesar better. |

QUOTE(lone_wolf @ Sep 4 2013, 06:27 PM) did you guys realise that there is no african player in our senior squad? it kinda odd bcoz arsenal are usually have african player in their squad. (Frimpong doesn't count he was born & raised in UK but play for ghana ) Maybe because there isnt much quality available? Gervinho and Chamakh is our last African to play for us. Our players consist of British, French, Germans, Polish, European and Asian. |

We made it into the headlines because Ozil was our highest paid and involving large sum of money. For Arsenal to spend 42.4 million on 1 world class player, it doesnt happen every year especially when Wenger is still around! People and fans all over the world assumed that Ozil transfer wont happen and still taking it 50% (thats what happen in this thread because we waited like hell for it to be officially announced). Rivals/rivals fans got buttburt because they always sees us like some ine who did not possess any threat but now, with the arrival of Ozil, we are once again feared by many teams. Maybe the Arsenal brand didnt attract most of the star players but Arsenal with Arsene factor made this Mesut Ozil transfer materialise. So, those WengerOut thingy, i think is not really appropriate-it was like current ManUtd, they lost that Fergie Factor. If it was Fergie who was incharge on last Monday, he would easily snatch 1-2 world class players, maybe Ozil. 😁
