Finally bought my RG gp01 from Gamers Arena yesterday. Brought my gf with me to do my shopping... she looked at the displayed models in front, and come running to me saying " I LIKE THAT YELLOW ONE!!!"

Anyone able to guess she refer to which kit? Tips: Is a MG kit. I was quite surprise with her choice. Later I show her another kit which I BELIEVE she will be interested... the Acguy! No doubt she LOVES IT So CUTE!!! I am pretty sure she will love it more if I show her the BEARGGUY! LOL.... there is definitely some gunpla market for the ladies. Probably next time buy her a beargguy and she can start sticking her handphone Blink blink crystal all over it.. She tried to do that to my RG zaku before .. (and I only allow her to stick few red crystal at the leg thrusters sleep.gif")

I also dont know what gundam is that... but i guess it could be from Gundam X (looking at the small label) I only watch seed, OO, stardust memories, 8th ms team , and oldest one is Char's counterattack. So not everyone knows the X tongue.gif

This gundam build fighter series.. good or not? I thought is childish... so I never pay any interest when it first released. Any fan of this series here?

This Sazabi Ver ka is getting really convincing... It has been a looong time since I have been so excited about a kit release!! I remembering how excited I was when I bought the original Sazabi MG during my secondary school time 13 years ago... (it was hard to collect money that time)... I could buy this purely from nostalgic feeling. tongue.gif but no doubt is a 300-400% improvement from the old MG...

Ahhhh...rg really is super fragile... Think I won't get another RG anymore... So fast already brokena critical part of the Gp01 core fighter wing... The part that holds the beam saber sad.gif Previously I broke the Rg zaku leg joints after few months of posing... The side skirt keeps coming off... And in order to fix it I hv to remove the entire leg... Too many times take in and out..and end up broken..... doh.gif Attached Image

sucky luck, i accidentally broke my pg strike upper front biseps inner mechanism part...FML...that joint is something like a grab-kind claw thingy, and i broke it coz i push it too hard to grab the role doh.gif, now just have to deal with it...sigh

btw, regarding nubs removal, i watch tons of youtube video, and no luck on me. the white spot is always there...
method 1: sandpaper (spoil my plastic surface, scratch marks)
method 2: design knife (white spot still there, and sometimes causes indentation)
method 3: nail clipper (white spot still there, just that i can control better)

any other way to remove nubs mark completely? is it i have to resort to painting my gundam only then nubs mark can be covered?
*
Usually after i cut with knife.. I'll run over the cut surface with my fingernail a little bit.. then use a bit of water to clean it up.. most of the time you wont see the white spot anymore... that works for me on normal build.

Just watched the first episode of Gundam Build Fighters.. Surprisingly it was quite entertaining and funny... turns out better than what I expected. A "childish" concept but works amazingly.

BF appeal to new comers (aka kids) due to its childish nature / fun competition type show that is easy to follow without all the complicated politics/philosophy/war/religion/etc. Old fans (aka ppl who hav watch every single gundam show ever) like this cuz of all the reference, jokes, cameos, parody and a big departure from all the killings and death and somber mood of past shows, its a much needed breath of fresh air in a fun way and also making fun of us real life modelers. Its just a really upbeat show full of cliche but was deliberate done so in a fun joking way which is why its works. It never took itself seriously and so should the viewer, watching BF is just pure enjoyment.

Ppl hu dun like this show r those hu dun hav enough experience watching gundam and hence do not understand all the awesome jokes and could only see it as nothing more than kids show; to which i'll say to them stop complaining and go watch the other 20 gundam series that r more serious in nature, then come back to this and u will love BF.

it also paves the way for old design that will never see the light of day if it werent for BF which old school fans will appreciate. The all gundam hg project is highly anticipated.

Couldn't agree more! Although I didnt watch every gundam series, but I get the idea. Mostly about nostalgia feeling in many cases. And I think only modelers will understand this show... at least there is something to related to themselves. Anyway fight scene is pretty good (& plenty)... background music match well too. I feel lucky at least I give this series a try thumbup.gif

I have just watched 2 episodes..few years ago. The rest couldnt find any HD version... I find the series is really top quality.. But the recent design I find it is becoming more exaggerate... not what I like anymore...That Banshee Norm Destroy Mode is starting to look like Michael Bay Transformer.. rclxub.gif

My heart stopped for 2seconds shocking.gif when i saw this! I seriously thought i see it all.. but Bandai manage to surprise us again. This should be the best MG release in this decade!! I just hope that its hip joints are able to supports its massive legs so it doesnt slant down when try to pose with dramatic "open leg" pose!

Now Bandai.. throw in the special durable/articulated stand with funnel's... make the whole package as perfect as possible.. This is the time to do it!! thumbup.gif

no, if it were it'll be promoted heavily in all events.

imagine u running a business and there is a feature to go alongside with ur latest product, of course u wan to market it advertise the shit out of it to generate more hype to show to ur potential customer what their money is being spend on to make ur product more appealing. If any features in question was not heavily promoted it just means its not included, simple business 101.

Maybe Bandai like to keep a little bit more "surprise" before it officially released tongue.gif my little christmas wish. Since they slowly tease us with different gimmicks. We only saw the full open hatch this few days (less than a month away ) I think I saw some kind of rifle+shotgun combo somewhere too.
