I always keep my boxes just in case in need to pack em up. Or when I got bored and decided to sell them off (Zakus are to be kept though).
Lately after all these years, gotten tired with some kits being exclusives and not getting my hands on them, which shifted my attention to something else (3a mostly That, and I have been gettting lazier to assemble nowadays. |

QUOTE(Flame Haze @ Sep 11 2013, 01:24 AM) Hi guys, new here. I've just started collecting gundams, and I just want to ask a few questions. Hello there, I recognized your username from other threads, welcome. What's the difference in details between MG and MB? Are they roughly the same? I've got this fettish for detailed gundam models, but PGs are too big to collect a lot, might get a few but not much, so I guess it's either MG or MB for me. But I must say MB looks far more impressive then MG, but the variation is lesser too, you don't get much choice. I was hoping for more, but now I've only got MB Destiny on pre-order and MB 00 Raiser shipping to me. Any chance Bandai will expand their MB series? Cause I just want to choose between MG and MB, and stick to it all the way. Thanks. If dough is not a problem, MB is the way to go. MG offer many more choices, in terms of availability and also customization (100+ choices and you wouldn't be customizing a well build MB I suppose). But most of the time, people would stay away from MB due to the price and choice. So in this case, if you fancy details, go for RG. Be warned though, some RG are quite fragile and delicate since the size is smaller than MG but offer plenty of parts. If you have ever build any Gunpla before, you will quickly be familiar with MG, but you will need to pay more attention on RG's instructions to avoid mistakenly cutting some small but crucial part/s. |

QUOTE(TheAdmiral @ Sep 13 2013, 10:07 AM) sphere is the most structure sound geometry, if u wan to build things that last and can take a tons of beating sphere is what u wan. Also why need attachment? internal weapons eliminated the needs of attachment. Most weapons these days r projectile base, everything is pretty much similar except for its warhead. If modern fighter jets can hav internal bays for so too can a fictitious practical space faring machine of doom. Hence the construction of Death Star of Star Wars also multipurpose war machines depends on its weapon load capability, not its shape or thruster or anything else. If that said machine can be equip for bombing, assault, long range, short range, etc nobody cares if it shape like a polar bear or have a million thruster sticking out everywhere. In any case, has anyone seen that lil' bugger Zogok here locally? After seeing some more reviews, I am inclined to get that ugly mofo more and more |

it is just for cool factors
too many moving parts contributes to fragility and weakpoints wouldn't attract people if it were cuboid shape thingy flying here and there fighting a pyramid right |

QUOTE(TaurusOxford @ Sep 14 2013, 09:40 AM) Nobody is saying that Big Zam isn't awesome, but I don't think anyone would want Big Zam to become the "norm" for Gundam design. Zam and the other Mobile Armors work because they're basically giant monsters that our "human" heroes(Gundams) have to defeat despite being at a huge disadvantage. i do think so too in the same waythe classic hero vs monster, most MA aren't humanoid if one think about it http://www.dalong.net/review/hg/h161/h161_p.htm review is out |

QUOTE(General_Nic @ Sep 14 2013, 01:50 PM) imagine how much more complex to make transformable suits > kaiju appearsit's like Pacific Rim movie, if based on reality, it's more practical to invent a destructive weapon than a giant robot > BFG used > end The movie will be as short as the trailer In the end, it all comes down to the target audience. We all love robots, be it fancy as **** or boring as watching the paint dries. But hey, they give us that. Some science here and there to add in some theories (for study purpose I presume "It's the journey, not the destination, that matters" (doesn't apply to all, I reckon). |

QUOTE(HxiiiK @ Sep 18 2013, 08:18 AM) can consider but still, do main MS first QUOTE(:3mushy:3 @ Sep 18 2013, 08:21 AM) With the exception of Zaku, I think they are catering the RG line for main Gundam, for general purpose MS, I think it's a tough luck. Well, SkyGrasper is there because of Strike. I am just giving false hope to myself, heheQUOTE(nazrul90 @ Sep 18 2013, 09:31 AM) It's so badass it can afford to be 'ugly' QUOTE(asuk @ Sep 18 2013, 09:53 AM) |
