Just found a PG Strike Gundam for 150 dollars shipped. Couldn't risk letting that one get away.

QUOTE(gundamsp01 @ Oct 20 2013, 07:20 AM) sucky luck, i accidentally broke my pg strike upper front biseps inner mechanism part...FML...that joint is something like a grab-kind claw thingy, and i broke it coz i push it too hard to grab the role The only way to 100% remove nub marks is via painting. You can get rid of most of the white spot via using a real touch marker and wiping away the excess, but you can still see it up close.btw, regarding nubs removal, i watch tons of youtube video, and no luck on me. the white spot is always there... method 1: sandpaper (spoil my plastic surface, scratch marks) method 2: design knife (white spot still there, and sometimes causes indentation) method 3: nail clipper (white spot still there, just that i can control better) any other way to remove nubs mark completely? is it i have to resort to painting my gundam only then nubs mark can be covered? |

QUOTE(:3mushy:3 @ Oct 23 2013, 08:23 PM) Latest MGs are impressive, that's why when MG have fully taken over what PG is meant for, the then-PG will be something more exclusive. MG and HG are Bandai primary cash cows, but to think they will abandon their crown jewel (PG), I don't think so I do think so. Bandai's last two attempts at PG kits were overpriced and had some poor engineering decisions which have made them consider by almost everyone to be the worst PG kits ever made, despite being the newest ones. Contrary to what you think, the PG line is not Bandai's crown jewel. The PG line catered only to diehard Gunpla fans - it has never been Bandai's primary money maker and never will be. |

QUOTE(:3mushy:3 @ Oct 23 2013, 10:42 PM) ummm...yes it is. Do you have any idea how expensive a PG Gundam with an entire diecast inner-frame would be? Not to mention that an all die-cast inner frame would make the model kit a posing nightmare - everything would be so heavy that it would fall down from its own weight. You'd be lucky if you could keep an elbow bent. |

QUOTE(:3mushy:3 @ Oct 23 2013, 11:42 PM) There should be nothing wrong with pushing the limit on how far one would spend if they are enthusiastic enough, and it's just a wishful thinking NO ONE would spend that much money on a PG. PG Strike Freedom and 00 Raiser are already pushing the limits on how much people are willing to spend on model kits, especially for those who live outside of Japan where getting model kits for Japanese retail price is usually a stroke of luck. There's no cost-effective way for Bandai to differentiate PGs from MGs or even RGs anymore besides number of parts and size. Most people consider the Strike Gundam to be the best the PG line has, and everything it has is matched by current MGs and even RGs. |

QUOTE(:3mushy:3 @ Oct 24 2013, 12:47 AM) No offense, but 'everything has been matched by MG and RG', it's simply a matter of how one's imaginary capacity is about, no? Guess what? Your "imagination" would waste Bandai's money. Your "imagination" would result in a PG kit so expensive that nobody buys it. Your "imagination" is overriding your common sense and your ability to listen to reason - reason that has been clearly spelled out to you by multiple people in this thread. Master Grade can do everything Perfect Grade can do if not better, and there's nothing "imaginary" Bandai could do with PGs that they can't just scale down to 1/100 scale to make it considerably cheaper and more profitable for them. |

![]() My second PG: Strike Gundam. Sadly, it's gonna have to wait until March-April to be touched again. I'm heading back to work on the 4th of November, and my plans for PG Strike don't give me enough time to build him now. |

It's called superglue. I also had to reverse the shoulder joint, cause the arm can't support the weight of the rifle.
