even in Macross Universe, the size between VF-1 and newer VFs like 19 and 25 are significant
1/72 VF-25 is about the size of 1/60 VF-1 and the size follows the trend of the era they were designed in QUOTE(TheAdmiral @ Oct 14 2013, 10:37 AM) It's like F16 vs F14 |

due to financial constraints, I've vowed to stay away from gunpla purchases for some time, but now Sazabi Ver. Ka is gonna break that vow before I even started...

QUOTE(zeroglyph @ Oct 16 2013, 10:20 AM) wow, new sazabi looks awesome. hope it's not going to be a brick though. looks really bulky. the fighter and gerwalk modes proportions are definitely spot on, extremely anime accurateanyway, just finished this guy last night: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « but the battroid mode proportions is kinda weird, especially the legs, kinda too long |

QUOTE(zeroglyph @ Oct 16 2013, 11:25 AM) i think it just "looks" that way. probably because the lower legs are longer than the upper. but overall, given that the palm is pretty close to the knee when standing up, i'm fine with that. for people who can't/won't ( not that I won't be buying it, I've been waiting for an affordable fully transformable kit for along time d other than the weird legs length, overall it's pretty detailed, and articulated too |

QUOTE(afsarudy @ Oct 17 2013, 04:09 PM) This is what I assume: my verdict of your list:RG Sinanju RG Unicorn RG Nu RG Exia RG 00R RG Impulse (most probably Sword Impulse) RG Qan[T] RG O-Gundam -RG Sinanju, plausible, but not in near future, I doubt they will make it before Unicorn -RG Unicorn, I'd say Bandai wishes greatly to make this, would boost their sales, but I doubt it can be done anytime soon. They're having hard time with a PG Unicorn, RG Unicorn would be harder -RG Nu, highly plausible, since Nu itself isn't very complicated, it can be done easily. Question is the funnels, but since they can make RG SF even though the dragoon system is so fragile and complicated, Nu's funnels would be piece of cake -RG Exia, extremely plausible, since Exia is as simple as RX-78-2, and no heavy backpack, plus it's popular, lastly 00 HD is being aired now, RG Exia is in -RG 00R, if they make Exia, this will definitely follow. Probably separate into 2 RGs, 1 00 Gundam, another 0 Raiser -RG Impulse, I'd say it has the same chances as Infinite Justice, popular enough to make one, but not that hot to be a must make model, either hit or miss -RG Qant, if Exia and 00R are made, then this has a chance, if not, zero -0 Gundam, close to 0, so far the only non main MS RG is Zaku II, means chances are already low. If they do make non main MS RG, they'll pick one from UC or Seed first, this decrease the chance even further |

QUOTE(Bonchi @ Oct 17 2013, 11:18 PM) doubt there'd be a rg unicorn.. its actually the size of nu gundam by scale... and rg still kinda stick to 18m-ish MS .. they'd prolly milk as much as they can with the inner frame template first before moving on.. in a way infinite justice and force impulse(gp01 similarity) seems to be the most probable ones to be announced next.. tho personally since my favourite gp01 is already a dream comes true. d one i really hope to be announced is the hyaku shiki RX-178 MkII, Zeta, & GP01 already broke the 18m barrier, it shows that >18 height isn't an issue for RGthe issue here is implementing the transformation mechanism while maintaining the price of RG at the same time |

QUOTE(Bonchi @ Oct 18 2013, 06:34 PM) i mentioned +-18 m.. unicorn is considered a mega sized ms +-22m variant (like nu, sazabi, sinanju) already.. the problem is wether or not they're willing to break the current streak .. and price point .. its obviously hard to maintain anyways.. they'd be almost the size of a smaller wing series/f91 MG even 24m tall Gundam wouldn't pose a problem for RG if it's simple, the plastic used for the height increase I'd say is equivalent or less than the plastic used for large backpacks like Freedom and Justicethe major problem with Unicorn is still the transformation mechanism QUOTE(Bonchi @ Oct 18 2013, 06:39 PM) because there's just to many MSes to make into MG at that time, plus I'm glad they didn't make one using the old Strike frame |

QUOTE(HxiiiK @ Oct 18 2013, 06:53 PM) ^ like i said before, i won't mind if they released RG Unicorn (Unicorn mode) and RG Unicorn (Destroy mode).. but as of right now, i think the HG is fantastic.. no need for an RG unless they can really WOW me like I said Bandai wouldn't take the risk of raging fans by releasing RG like that, fans would rage that it ain't 'Real' Grade enough |

QUOTE(Bonchi @ Oct 18 2013, 08:26 PM) nah.. it'll mostly be the ng shiny gold.. but we'll rage with the un-removable nub marks... regarding the rg.. if that's the case.. nu and sazabi should be released sooner.. unless they're stuck with the transformable psychoframe mode in the latest ver.ka.. which i dont recall it happening in the anime anyways I still don't get why people complaining about the nub marks in Akatsuki?? I used to have the NG 1/100 and the nub marks on the gold plated parts are nearly non-existent Bandai had did a job applying their undergate technology with the kit, I don't see why they can't implement the same thing if they ever make an MG of it |

QUOTE(gundamsp01 @ Oct 20 2013, 05:50 PM) sucky luck, i accidentally broke my pg strike upper front biseps inner mechanism part...FML...that joint is something like a grab-kind claw thingy, and i broke it coz i push it too hard to grab the role sanding is the most perfect way to remove nubsbtw, regarding nubs removal, i watch tons of youtube video, and no luck on me. the white spot is always there... method 1: sandpaper (spoil my plastic surface, scratch marks) method 2: design knife (white spot still there, and sometimes causes indentation) method 3: nail clipper (white spot still there, just that i can control better) any other way to remove nubs mark completely? is it i have to resort to painting my gundam only then nubs mark can be covered? to remove scratch marks you need to use multi grit sandpaper eg. 800 -> 1200 -> 2000 then after that you need to polish it, there's 2 ways either use polishing compound(like cream) on cloth to rub the surface or use polishing paper or sticks, eg. fingernails ploishing sticks only downside is time consuming, it requires lots of patience, but the outcome is perfect |
