QUOTE(andrewtho @ Sep 3 2013, 10:06 AM) Agreed with Moyes on Herrera's price being overvalued. 30mil is alot for a player who is still at a young age and has yet to peak properly. Hopefully they'll concentrate on other targets during the next window. Guess it depends on how good he actually is/turns out to be (which I know nothing about). Other clubs were reluctant or slow to pay 12million for Ronaldo, but it turned out to be a super bargain. Similarly, there are cases where the player didn't pan out as well as hoped for due to injury or other issues (Anderson....)Other targets might offer better value, IF we identify them AND sign them without overpaying. Of course, there is always the question of whether the club will sell, and if the player will sign. Aulas (Lyon), Levy both have a reputation of being hard negotiators, and AC Milan seem pretty skilled too... Woodward better start getting into the swing of things... don't end up being painted with a "sucker" tag! |

coentrao still not confirmed
well, ok fine, Afroman isn't all as bad as we think. I can't recall last year as I didn't take much notice of him, but the year before was his reign. Everyone was marking him. Hope his form is up. speaking of which, Valencia was on top shape (IMHO) when he was playing against liverpool |

Think positive
Rooney stay - hope he fully commit to us, don't always 'injured himself' , like a new signing ! Nani stay - give him more time ahead of Young, improve his consistency, like a new signing ! |

I think thats what make United and SAF different from others. To certain extent Wenger as well. They are loyal to players and always give the players more chances to prove themselves. Wenger with the Ramsey situation. SAF with Forlan. Nani on his day is very dangerous for any opponent. Imagine if he plays for other team we might be jelly I am sure. :-P
Hope Coentrao move goes through and Nani will have good buddy to play with now in the left flank. |

QUOTE(kevyeoh @ Sep 3 2013, 10:44 AM) He has already showed that he is good enough. He just needs to replicate the form from 2 or 3 seasons ago where he was arguably United's best player and miles better than Young or Valencia. He has been deployed on the left many times (mostly he just cuts in and tries to take potshots at goal) but it seems like he performs best when he is on the right wing as his crossing can be quite good at times so Valencia might have to be shifted to the left wing or to RB. If Coentrao does arrive then he can play on the left or if Moyes is confident in Januzaj then give him a chance. This post has been edited by IronLionZion: Sep 3 2013, 11:02 AM |

United's Herrera Failure Emblematic of Embarrassing Transfer Window
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1759394...transfer-window OMG. Got to feel sorry for Ander Herrera in all this transfer business, he was happy to take a pay-cut to make a dream move to United. This post has been edited by Haza_izzz: Sep 3 2013, 11:03 AM |

i am not sure about afroman's doubters.
but i am convinced that he will succeed at old trafford. i still remembered how he single-handed cost us the trophy 2 seasons ago (4-4 draw at goodison park....) |

*BREAKING NEWS*
"Confirmation from Manchester United that three men who reportedly attempted to negotiate a deal to sign Athletic Bilboa midfielder Ander Herrera were not acting on behalf of the Premier League champions and were, for want of another word, imposters. "Reports in Spain claim three men dressed in black suits and claiming to be United "representatives" spent an hour at the La Liga offices attempting to negotiate a deal. The move collapsed at the 11th hour." - seriously I don't understand, what went wrong? they cant identified whose the legit rep from ManUtd? |
