For those in the dark, gashapons = capsule toys. Unlike in the old times, THESE are real! Original from the Land of the Rising Sun! It's true! If we go tikam in a group, it's easier to empty the machines and get sets rather than pay RM10-20 more from the shops, i.e. XL Shop.

Anyone else as excited as I am?
Was there at 1U and Subang Parade 2 days in a row hehe, hauled some nice gashapons! w00ts!

Went to Genting Highlands recently. First impression of the gasha 'scene' there was "wow, so many here...", but unfortunately a lot of them were the same thing repeated over and over again. they use the same tokens there. it's a 1 1/2 hours drive from KL. i suppose it's an option rather than going all the way to singapore which is actually way better. no pics for that one...yet

Each shop have different types of gashas, but all of them use the same token (1 token = RM4). So you can actually buy tokens from one shop, and spend it at another

Token amount per capsule are colour coded-
Token x 1
Token x 2
Token x 3
Just ask the respective shopkeepers for token exchange

The Mini [WTT] Area @ Gasha Central~

This is a mini WTT section within Gasha Central, created to accomodate tikam-ers who need to trade/complete their gashapon sets. There are TWO ways to trade.

Option #1
Open a WTT thread (containing your gasha descriptions) at the Garage Sales section and pm me the link.

Option #2
Pm me the pieces you have to trade, what you want to trade for and how much for sale should you want to sell it. Just tell me the series, pictures aren't necessary but if possible do include pics of the gasha card* (see example). Search for jpgs of that particular series you have/want online. Lazy? Just pm me and I'll reply with the pic, and photo-edit it with pieces you have.
* Gasha cards are the cards you see in the gasha dispenser.

2) 2nd Floor, arcade centers, Sun Comics

Sungai Wang got Doraemon key chain
which is the one me and my gf tikam the most

i think this will be a new trend like years ago when those card machines started popping out anywhere, everywhere, whereverwhere...

Yeah there are 2 types. I am pretty sad though, no YUJIN ones yet hahah more chicks to tikam if there are.

Naruto Gashapon can be seen anywhere (included pirated one)
so I don't go tikam for Naruto also

currently manage to tikam 4 for tht.. i still need 2 to complete the collection
