Guys, i am just asking..

My card just got charged GST RM50 this month as it has been a year already..

I believe my annual fee has been waived because I have swiped more than 60 times already since last year when i received this card..

Anyway, i am wondering, the Government Service Tax (GST) is not waived, right?

Just to double confirm..

Thank you for the input.

Guys, do you know that the current petrol cash rebates now already got limit quota?

All rebates are capped at RM900,000 on first come, first serve basis.. No wonder the petrol cash rebates has not being tally in my statement..

Today i just received my August credit card statement..

Another month of disappointment whereby i only received about 2.1% from my petrol expenditure..

Well, the capping of the rebates for the petrol had affected me badly because my job requires me to use my transport a lot.

Decided to make a decision in this coming October on whether to maintain with this credit card or terminate it..

Doesn't really see the point of maintaining the credit card unless no need to pay Government tax..

When's the last transaction that you got your rebate? I got feeling they start to cheat more and more people by bringing forward the cut off date.

Used to be around mid of the month quota only finish, now might even finished by 10th or so. If not because I still have some smartcash inside the card, I wouldn't bother to keep it. Even then will cut it before May next year when GST comes in, unless GST abolish then might consider. But then annual fees might not be waived.

You are asking a good question which i do not have the answer as well...

I am unable to track how they calculate the rebate.. blink.gif

It really does, almost all of us here has it in our statements for the past few months, effective petrol cash back is around 2.1% - 3%

Yes.. True.. I am getting this kind of rebates since the impose of the rebate capping..

I am looking for another alternative which is the Citibank Shell Card, but my annual fee and the mileage is still not worth it.

now getting more peoples own this card, the petrol rebate getting less day to finish sad.gif

I decided to terminate the card once my monthly cash rebate for petrol started to achieve only 2% per month..

Doesn't see any point of keeping the cash if only 2% for my petrol rebate.. blush.gif
