The 900k quota which is equivalent to RM45k cash rebate is not limited to any petrol station and there is no 5% smart $ limit. So I would advise you guys to pump petrol best before 20th-22nd of every month to receive the cash back.

QUOTE(whitesabre @ Mar 18 2014, 01:00 PM) Wrong. My statement came already. Dated 16th March. 5% cashback from UOB (NOT smart$cash from BHP) ended already. They rebated a portion of my pump on 15th of March. Huh? So can I say that you are the last person to redeem the RM45k? You guys will ask why they can rebate so fast. Coz I walk into the counter and swipe the card there, not at pump terminal. As such, the amount is charged immediately. I pumped on 22nd last month and still entitled 5% cash rebate. Nothing wrong, its just that this month's rebate ended quicker. This post has been edited by kelvinlzy: Mar 18 2014, 04:11 PM |

QUOTE(whitesabre @ Mar 18 2014, 04:08 PM) Haha ya. HLB wise not good. First, must spend RM50 and above to be eligible. Secondly, must have at least 10 transactions a month and each transaction RM50 and above. It's kinda lousy since you must spend RM500 a month to be eligible to get RM50 cashback (10% of RM500). You spend 9 transactions and you get nothing. Lousy card really. Avoid this card if you cannot meet the minimum requirement or do not know how to split the bill. Or you can do it like I do, help friends and relatives to pump petrol then rebate for them. Or worse, go to petrol station everyday and help those who want to pay by cash to pump then rebate 2% for them. You still get 8% back. Win-win situation. Just don't go to the same petrol station otherwise you might get halau/blacklisted. LOL. This post has been edited by kelvinlzy: Mar 18 2014, 04:23 PM |

QUOTE(sohakyee @ Mar 20 2014, 09:25 PM) Yes, but UOB changed their T&C for petrol cash back capped at RM45k per month, and this month's cash back quota is already finished at March 15th. So the average rebate would be less than 5% in a month. Do note that there is 5% smart$ if pump petrol at BHP until 30th April. |

I have terminated my UOB One card even though they offered me with annual fee waiver, GST rebate and 0% BT for 6 month just to avoid the disappointment of not getting the petrol cashback.

QUOTE(Devil4life @ May 7 2014, 09:46 PM) Bugger just called the CS and was inform that my RM3.20 is the rebate given on the first and partial from my second pump. Dafuq? you're telling me pumping half way on the 12th the quota is up? Utter nonsense man. Freaking cheat man and people here mentioning they gotten the rebate for their transaction after mine. I did foresee this coming so I called to cancel my card last month 1. Such coincidence Rm3.20 is the 5% of Rm64 which I did the transaction on the 12th? 2. 12 is still consider early for the month 3. There is people here that gotten the rebate for transaction after mine. I'm canceling this card after clearing my statement. You are officially blacklisted from my choice of cards no matter what card you launching in future. |

QUOTE(victorywp @ May 14 2014, 10:52 PM) well, it depends whether you still want to be tied up with uob for another year. by that time, maybe they won't waive my af and gst anymore (if i don't use the card at all for the next 1 year). argh, i should have bt the full 80% of my uob cl to aeon watami! then bt from watami to my mbb2amex and earn aeon points. lol... |

To anyone who will be getting their annual fees and do not want to pay, try sms UOBPG to 33310. You will get a call back from UOB offering 3 years AF waiver + 1 year GST waiver. There are some forumers that reported that it works. I haven't try it though. Just got mine waived last month. Do try out if your AF cannot be waived and let us know here. TQ.
