QUOTE(Human Nature @ Sep 4 2013, 07:13 PM) I went to UOB branch to register online banking and set SMS alert. The CS requested to have my IC photocopied for the SMS alert. I declined and she got agitated. Then, no need online banking purposes laa.. Simple thing takes less than 5 minutes, it's normal procedure. Next time u want to open an account there, they wont ask anymore.

QUOTE(fly126 @ Sep 20 2013, 11:58 AM) You have Maxed up Your Credit Limit 5k (3.5k+ 1.4k= 4.9K Your Authorized Bal.+ Outstanding Bal.) Remainder CL can be use RM100 the Pre-Authorized Amount for Petrol Usually is $200 so You have short of RM100 for Petrol Fueling.... You need to Pay Off some of Your Outstanding Balance before You can use Your CC again.... But I've paid a total of ~rm1k earlier this month and another 1k last week.. How long does it take for it be cleared?

Hey guys, need some advice/clarification.
If let's say I wanna purchase some household items total worth of RM4k with the One Card.. what should the minimum monthly pay be? How does it differ with the fixed deposit/payment, i'm not too clear about it but i read it somewhere that the interest rate will be lower than the minimum payment method.. I don't have uob acc, just the one card. I pay via rhb online every month.

QUOTE(victorywp @ Jan 13 2014, 05:55 PM) minimum payment is always 5% from your statement amount. however, if you only pay minimum amount monthly, there are interest applied... I know, and I never pay just minimum. What im asking is, how do i settle the debt instead of mininum payment (with higher interest rate) to fixed payment (with lower interest rate)? What do i need to do/bring to apply that fixed payment method..

Hey guys, did anyone of u received a call from the uob bank offering this prudential-credit-something these past few days? I got a call earlier today that basically, what i understand from their explanation, u pay a total of 0.65% payment from ur current monthly outstanding for this 'insurance' whereby prudential&uob will cover all ur outstanding (up to rm50k) incase u (the card owner) experience specific permanent desease/injury/fatal.
E.g. if ur outstanding for that month is rm100, the premium u'll pay is 100 x 0.65% = rm0.65 (for that month). If ur outstanding is rm1000, u pay rm6.50.. (and so on)
And if u accept the offer, they will only start deducting the next 2 upcoming months's outstanding. Ur current month and the following month wont be deducted. The policy will be sent to ur address in 2weeks.
