Is it true UOB will no longer grant annual fee waiver? Anyone here got charge with annual fee waiver & the bank insist of not waiving it?

Is anyone here aware that UOB One Card petrol rebate will capped at RM900,000.00 a month only? Meaning that if the bank has exhausted the RM900,000.00 cash rebate payout for petrol.. Subsequent purchase on petrol will not be entitled for rebate.

I guess I'll be cancelling my One Card as well... UOB Bank is bloody cunning keeping important fine prints under T&C.

Called in and cancelled my UOB One Card after using it for 5 years. They asked the reason for my cancellation and i told them:-
i) No waiver for annual fee (The CS acknowledged this) ii) Reduction in petrol rebate down from 5% to 1%. |
