QUOTE(sam240 @ Nov 13 2013, 10:51 AM) Hi, for new apply, how to waive the GST RM50 and which month it will waive? How about GST on 2nd year? How to waive it? I got my card few months back (I think August iirc), fulfilled the GST RM50 rebate requirement (by using 6 transactions within 3 months iirc) and now still haven't got the rebate. Already ask CS twice and they say I should get it next month.... And I don't think there's any way to get GST RM50 rebate for second year, unless you call them or want to cancel the card or something

Speaking of the annual fee fees waiver, what's the latest update on annual fee waiver requirement? Does the use of card 36 times per year to waive annual fee still stands?

QUOTE(bodybuilder @ Jul 1 2014, 02:07 PM) i use about rm1k per month and i clear all my balance every month. they say ONE Card new policy cannot waive, I say fine pls cancel they say marketing team will view and call me back within 7-10days time. So let them cancel...Always wanna charge GST and annual fees....I can always apply from other banks...as tho they 1 bank in whole Malaysia... U guys better cancel lah if they treat us so bad Man, that really sucks... Ah well, as long as we cancel we no longer have to pay for the annual fee is it? But GST still will kena?

I just made a call to the CS. It seems when I applied for the card they gave me free 2 years annual fee so for this year I am safe.
But the CS did tell me that I still can call for waiver for AF if I am charged with it. AF can be waived. Weird, I guess different CS gives different info?

QUOTE(victorywp @ Jul 1 2014, 03:12 PM) call for annual fee waiver every time you were charged, no matter what bank cc you are using. most of the banks will waive for you but it depends on your card usage. Yeah, that's what I heard. Just bodybuilder's experience got me scared so I call to CS and confirm about this earlier. I got two instalments going on with UOB, will lose RM100 early settlement if forced to cancel the card. Hmm, maybe I will try apply OCBC later. The instalment plans seem to have no early settlement charge

Campaign from 11 June? Isn't it now July? and for first 1,000 member only? So most likely all taken up
And RM1,600 spent for that powerbank? Not really worth it

Actually, I wonder if this will get us unofficially 'blacklisted' by the bank? I mean, the bank might put us in the list of "potential trouble makers who know how to complain to BNM" and probably will have to think more before approving our application for account loan etc.

Question about Smart Cash, are there any minimum limit we need to accumulate before we can use it? For example I need have at least RM10 Smart Cash to use it?
