Here's the info I "extracted" from the UOB CS

First come, first served basis
Max rebate given RM50,000 per week [10-16 Jan / 17-23 Jan / 24-30 Jan]
Rebate capped per cardholder : RM50 per week
Only at Tesco, AEON BIG, Giant, Cold Storage, Jaya Grocer
Rebate will be credited within 6 weeks after 30-Jan-2014

I hate all this capping to RMxx cos we as the user will have no idea whether we qualify and be at the mercy of the Bank with no possible recourse as we don't have access to the Bank's records. Unless, you were at the counter at 10.01 am and still did not get the CB.

Then perhaps, you can be justified to ask BNM to do an audit.

That list seems to be all grocery only. And none of Departmental store.

But the SMS written grocery and departmental store. Was thinking to stock AEON vouchers with it.

today i received my card. no phone call verification or anything.

Very vague... if it's based on MCC code.... then those AEON/Parkson/Isetan/Robinsons/Tangs could be included. Maybe the previous CS is "making" assumption

Yeah, very vague. 1000 card holder (max RM50) is not much and it is based on when the system capture the transaction.

Don't really bother... unless it's "sure-win".
Going to proceed to cancel my UOB ONE Card... ignore the retention SMS (langsung no personal touch)

Agreed, UOB always come up with these half baked promos and processes.

Haha I think they are afraid people will counter offer and request more stuffs

me too! i have just purchased rm500 cash vouchers at tesco this morning.
so rm50 maxed out... hopefully i'm one of the first rm50k this week...
