Please do elaborate more on this allocation. I will use the CC for most of my transaction, but the biggest spending will be for petrol.
*
- uob one platinum gets 5% petrol cb (max rm25 cb per month)
- uob one classic gets 5% petrol cb (max rm15 cb per month)

as per above, you get the cb credited in your statement month.

however, there is another t&c which is the petrol cb allocation of rm900k per month on first come first serve basis. usually by the 13th of the month, the rm900k petrol cb allocation will be finished. although you have not max our petrol cb (rm25 or rm15) for that month, but you will get 0% cb due to the allocation is finished.

do you intend to apply uob one mainly for petrol cb? if yes, you need to understand that they have a monthly allocation of rm900k first come first serve basis. usually this allocation will finished by the 13th of the month. any pump after that will have 0% cb.

Going to say Goodbye to UOB. It was a good card to have before the stup1d T&C of first RM900K.

Perhaps for those who can still maximise the other categories like Pharmacies, GSC etc cos for Groceries @ 2% already lose to many cards which offer 5%

I think yes, mostly the quota used up, cos I fuel up only once a week.

I use my CC(s) only for these transactions:

Petrol: About RM300+ a month
Astro (RM164), Telekom (RM1 lol), Streamyx (RM120), Celcom (RM60+), TNB (RM50+)
Groceries shopping: About RM100 a month

Other transactions, quite rare

Sad to say my UOB card was exploited on 23-Oct-14 at around 11pm.

Luckily the sms notification is On. I quickly called to the customer service hotline to have my card blocked at about 11:30pm.

3 transactions went throu with 6 others msg on SMS-OTP. Believe that 3 went throu need not have the OTP.

Dispute form was raised next day at the branch office.

Waiting for a replacement card to arrive and plan to cancel it thereafter since i seldom use this card at all...

Reported Merchant: DPAM, KONGREGRATE INC & WEB*.COM DIY

I just settled one dispute charge with UOB a few days ago. It happened 4 weeks ago and was an online purchase in Europe. This happened to my Preferred VISA Platinum card. I am sure it resulted from an internal leak as I seldom use the card. Also contemplating to terminate it as most of the benefits became insignificant. I just wonder which card currently has the highest disputes. The last time I had such problem was with Maybank2Cards Amex but it was blocked by the bank without my intervention. Maybank even sent me a replacement card within days after confirming that I still require to use it.

My friend, his Maybank Corporate card encounter fraud just two weeks ago. But, he managed to have it blocked before any transaction went through. Then, he also shared that his colleague MBB Amex got exploited.

I went to UOB Kuching branch the other day, looks to me that the staff handle these sort of disputes quite frequently...
