I've never been hardworking enough to manually jote down every detail but I do check the statements to re-verify..

The only issue I face with the cashback is the 2% smart rebate in BHP. Sometimes the machine just does not work and the 2% smart cash rebates does not appear in the transaction slip. I called in to UOB several times and they said the system would automatically add up later. Hmmm though until now I not sure if it did cause didn't really count.

But can't be bothered too much anymore as Maybank Amex is my main card for petrol, only use UOB during the weekday since its 500 cap is not enough for my Plats.

let me correct you. you can redeem the smart$ anytime for bhp at any amount subject 2smart$ or more

What I knew that you still need to go in to pay via counter and have the cashier swipe via the UOB machine. Is there any change of this that I may not known of?

Yes.. Besides that Maybank also replaces my onecard for my supermarket purchases... Just wait till weekend for the 5% + x5 points

No both of you are wrong and there no such thing as RM20 min redeemption or purchase and did UOB says so 

Below are T&C from UOB Clause 8

8) No minimum purchase is required for Cardmembers to perform redemption of their SMART$:
a) If the value of the transaction is more or equal to the accumulated SMART$, the Cardmember may redeem the whole, but not part, of the accumulated SMART$ towards full or partial payment of the goods and/or services purchased from the SMART$ merchant. The value of the accumulated SMART$ shall be deducted
from the value of the transaction; the balance (if any) is payable by charging the same to the Cardmember’s Credit Card, and not by cash.
b) If the value of the transaction is less or equal to the accumulated SMART$, the Cardmember shall be entitled to redeem part of the accumulated SMART$ equivalent to the value of the transaction.
c) Purchase may not be made using a partial redemption of SMART$ and the balance by cash. UOBM will not accept any of such SMART$ adjustments or disputes from Cardmembers.

I just received the card retention SMS. If i do not want to accept the offer, I can just ignore it right?

Will there be any notification about the cancellation? The card is no longer shown at the online portal.

i just called to confirm with uob CS about the 5% petrol cash rebate 900k limit.
if 900k rebate was already given out in feb, we will have to wait until the first of march to get the rebate again.

now is already 16th feb, i wonder if they have already paid 900k rebate to customers or not... it makes me considering to use another credit card when pumping petrol this month or not... @_@

If over the limit, no cash rebate will be giving when pump petrol??

I take my words back... You better call UOB to "reconfirm" the cancellation... I got slapped with RM50 GST charge
