I'm sure this place will be developed by 2020. Already SP Setia has 1 or 2 land banks in Broga, one of them being EcoForest, extending from Kesuma Lakes all the way into Broga. New shops are also opening up in nearby Taman Tasik Semenyih. There are also rumours that TAR college might open up a campus here in Semenyih. Another big time developer is said to come in.
From my observations I did in Semenyih early this week, I notice that the palm oil plantation workers quarters had their roofs demolished and the last of their workers and their families move out. Probably preparing the land to get ready for some development. This is in front of the CFFR (Crops For Future Research Centre) beside Nottingham University, a stone's throw away from Univillage apartments and can be seen from the main road behind some greenery. Also with the construction of the EKVE? highway beginning 1st September starting from Sungai Long that goes all the way to Ampang and KL from the east side of Semenyih, it will be a good idea to connect Sungai Lalang Industrial area, areas near Broga, Kesuma Lakes and Mahkota Hills@Semenyih South@Beranang together. More development coming into Broga and surrounding areas like Country Garden perhaps? This post has been edited by Wobblyblob: Sep 10 2015, 07:12 AM |

Actually TTS is home to Nottingham University students also. Some mainland Chinese, Korean, a few Whites, Blacks, India Indians, Carribeans, Middle Easterns, local Chinese and Indians.
P.S.: There used to be more whites some years back. |

Country Garden's got very beautiful landscaping. I like it. Way much better than most housing/township projects in Klang Valley.

Wow, this project looks impressive and very beautiful too.
They've even widen the lanes/roads at the entrance and added a turning in lane as well as an opening to the opposite side of the road. |
