All the pictures above are taken with the same camera and lens, just different placement of flash. I used 550D and 50mm reversed handheld. I placed my flash on tripod located mostly from right or left of the water droplets.

wow thanks, it feels really great to get praising from sifu like you haha I not sure if I should like or hate the shape of the bokeh, really stands out but too distracting sometimes.
