I have the Maxis Biz68 unlimited package but the SIM is in a Huawei e5331 device.

I want to know if:
1. Can it download bittorrent? I dont own a desktop at home but just an old laptop. Sometimes, we want to download a torrent but seems like cannot. I tried uTorrent because my friend tell me no need to configure (not IT expert) but does not seem to work
2. Do i need to upgrade my MiFi device to a 3G modem / router or sorts to be able to download torrent?

While you guys are worrying about your LTE speeds, my landline has been disconnected due to renovation works, my home is fully dependent on 3G to stay connected to the internet.

Please help.

The answers to your questions is on the first page

Hi, I have read 13 pages before posting.

if you are referring to the following: "Maxis do cap P2P connections. Torrent Port will only be opened at 1.00 a.m. - 7.00 a.m. or 3.00 a.m. - 7.00 a.m., depending on your area."

Yes, I have no tried bittorrent downloading from 1:00 - 7:00 AM. I will give it a try tonight.

I want to ask if activating a public IP helps with BitTorrent? And whether it's a product limitation? Huawei e5331 is a pretty small MiFi (again, not technical).

Hi there, thanks for your confirmation. To be honest, I have no idea what public IP does but I just throw the question out on the table to be advised. Appreciated.

That's the answer to your question.
Public IP has nothing to do with BT.
Modem has nothing to do with BT.

I will try to run my BT overnight tonight and see if there's any favorable results. Thank you.
